It’s because they were planning on doing a Snowbarry romance storyline but wanted to slow the roll on it. It’s disappointing, though, that they deleted these cute scenes. 🥺

It's a nice character scene, but to be fair, it doesn't advance the plot or even tell us anything we don't know about them, so I can see why it was chosen to go if the episode was overrunning.
