hey man, yesterday i setup pfsense firewall in my virtual environment and installed snort on pfsense.Is there a way to forward these snort logs to something, maybe a siem for further analysis?

Thanks! I am trying to avoid doing tiers as I currently see the landscape shifting from a tiered approach to a more general “analyst” where a t1 should know how to do t2 stuff and even abit of t3 stuff.

What are the specs? Could try rebuilding and increasing the specs if you can

Yup look into Wazuh or Splunk. For firewalls you’ll be forwarding the logs via syslog
So would this also apply for cybersecurity analyst projects?
Yea however these will lean towards SOC analysts
