Kaibosh's statement about "the balance" seems like a lose-lose situation. I like the Ahh! Real Monsters' explanation on why they scare a little better. For those who don't know; in ARM, the monsters scared humans as a way of preserving themselves in the world. If they didn't scare humans that often, they would all literally start to disappear. To me, that seems more understandable than simply saying humans "will rise up against us"
