MC has 0 memories before meeting Grandma in the shelter. Caleb was taken in a few months later. I speculate Caleb was 10 or 9 years old when MC was 7 or 8 years old. So they must have 2-3 years difference or 1 but I doubt it. Caleb also went to study as college at some point we saw it in a flashback when they were parting which makes me believe there is 2-3 or maybe 4 years difference MC was still in high school or early high school bc she is 21 and graduated college now and a hunter so she must have been 17 ot 16 at the time when Caleb left to study. Grandma has adopted MC but seems to have fostered Caleb who was left with her for some reason. In a way Grandma and Caleb are indeed all the family she knows and has but she is awear her and Caleb are not related. They both grew up quickly being fostered and all. So I see no problem with him being a love interest he was her friend, brother and family bc they grew up in the same house but they are not siblings not even adopted siblings...Just bc someone fostered you does not make you and the other children siblings nor does it mean you will keep contact or be friends or talk to each other or like each other. There is a similar Kdrama right now with similar plot. Childhood friends grew up together undeer one roof and the 2Mls liked the FL when they grewp up similar to Caleb and Zayne and MC who would often have dinner togtether. Family by Choise its a very nice drama a remake of a C-drama actually I preger this one. Check it out

The number of people who lack reading comprehension is endless. I'm tired of explaining it. Or maybe they just don't want to admit the fact that Caleb could be the new male lead in the future. Honestly, Infold is very bad at providing English translations. The differences between Chinese and English translations are quite large, causing many people to misunderstand. This is also why I prefer using Chinese dubbing, and I'm trying to learn Chinese to get a more accurate translation.

Or if they are adopted into a family and become bro and sis the kids (even teens) automatically are to see each other as real bro and sister. They automatically feel they cannot date that person. It's like taboo. But in reality they can because they are not blood related. So it's pretty much all culture and social expectations 😄 personally I never understood it, but I'm from a Latin country so we are more open minded lol. I knew they weren’t related but I feel like I couldn’t see a person I saw as a brother since I was 7 years old as a love interest 😅 no judgement to others who can, but I really have a line between family and everyone else, and family isn’t defined by blood but by the experiences in my mind (for example sleeping in the same house, barging into each other’s rooms, having dinner together most days, going on family trips, etc etc). Though I will say there’s a high chance I’ll eat my words because I also felt iffy about Zayne being our primary care physician, and I still like him lol
That’s how I feel too! Idk it’s always rubbed me the wrong way, especially since they were both adopted together. They are technically adopted siblings. I also have step siblings so just the concept is especially weird to me too since even though we aren’t blood related, they’re still my siblings. I wouldn’t mind him as a love interest but to me it feels a bit odd. Just my opinion though, I know many fans love Caleb and he likely will be a future love interest regardless.

tbh the other LI people have issue not sure about xavier but zayne and sylus is very controversial sylus probably with his aggressive toxic persona (of course you have break through the surface, he much more dept than this… all the li are) and zayne doctor and patient relationship. Rafayel personality.. some player say the friend zone him 😂 for me caleb as long as it not blood related im okay and mc met him when she was 7. I have brother but i also have childhood friend that we hang out together all the time, mostly males. we live a same apartment so we practically see each other and play together everyday. for me my brother and them relationship wise are very diff but maybe that just me. i heard story of childhood sweetheart plus this trope is popular in otome.luke in Tears of themis ( another mobile otome game ) play this trope and many people likes him even oversees however i play lot otome game so i might be use to it. haha but for me if the story is good in all for it)

Yeah , i saw that caleb is not related since the start i guess people cant read 😅😅😅. At the moment i only have one li I felt bad that i couldn't relate to the other three original cast but they not my type of men. I am glad we get different li for different taste. It depends on each individual and how they were raised by the grandma anyway. If grandma never told them “he’s your big brother now and she’s your little sister” then it just depends how MC saw him. And it was never stated that they were both adopted per se but more just given a roof over their head and having an adult in the house. Also, a lot of people that grew up in adoption centre found their husband/wife through that and they were “raised” under the same roof too. So unless the game specifically said “They were adopted by grandma” then I see no issue. In MCs notes under Caleb she also describes him as “my childhood friend” and not “my “brother” so it’s basically like Zayne and he is more of a controversy than Caleb. Why? Because ethnically a doctor shouldn’t date his patient. Thats just my opinion tho if you dislike Caleb being a possible love interest because you interpreted their relationship differently than it’s still your opinion. However I hope you don’t call us Caleb likers “inc*st lovers” because it’s really not
