Hi! This time I’ve translated Faker’s guide on “Map awareness & Reading the map” and that this might be the best guide from him I’ve encountered so far. Every time I’ve watched or translated guide or vod review or anything else from this guy I always felt like he’s not explaining things fully. I always felt that his guides are very superficial. I always felt that I need to find hidden meanings in his words, find things that he didn’t talk about.
However this time he explained the theme very in a very detailed and crystal clear manner. On top of that guide consists of 5 parts and you can use each one of them as your training plan. You take first part and you work on it until it is your second nature, then you can move to second part and ect. Also this time Faker’s guide is useful for literally any player: it doesn’t matter which lane or champion you’re playing - you can take his advices on the topic and use in your gameplay. I highly suggest you to watch this video! Hopefully you will enjoy it and improve your personal skill.
10/10 still applicable to this day and I see no one doing this now even in Master's. Wild how degraded we've come after 5 years over in NA. This isn't just a mini-map awareness guide it's like a little tiny macro guide included. Wish I would have found this years ago. I'm going to watch all of your content and see if I can't learn something new :D I know the channel is old but I'm still giving it a sub. Thank you so much.
your english can improve but i still understand everything you mean.. Thank you for this, it's helpful! i'll start applying these to my games whenever i can
This… is gold. Like still after years it’s one of the best practical guides I’ve seen… lot of macro guides completely miss the point that if I am watching a guide it’s mainly for PRACTICAL advice, exactly like “when should I watch other lanes”. Faker seems very aware of the fact that greatness comes from the small details you can ALWAYS implement in your plays and make into a reliable habit.
*Champions that can help you practice map awareness* *Lux* - Ults for extra damage for fights in other lanes *Blitzcrank* - Hook for sure kills, skillshot training and predictions. When you start to be so map aware you can do blind hooks, it's super satisfying. PS: When I play Blitz I tell my ADC to clear the lane as fast as possible so you can leave the ADC in lane and gank mid or help your jungle invade. *Vi* - Despite being a jungler, you can focus on ganking, Vi can gank with only Q and E, W for chasing and R for disabling damage dealers when the support is blocking your Q to ADC.
I have been looking for this since I played this game. Like most of people, I often watch his stream and learn a little bit from his style. Then I vaguely realize something but it's just a part of my instinct. It's grateful to have this guide because playing game doesn't depend on my instinct.
Yeah, I also prefer to get clear and deep explanations rather than instinctively trying to find righ ways. Sadly, there aren't that many guides like that
Thanks for translating and bringing the video to us, it means a lot! Now I see that most of my mistakes were on the macro side of gameplay, thus now I have some knowledge taught by Faker. Nice job, I hope you keep the great work.
I have no idea why I can't see your brilliant and most likely accurate comment about Alphastar all inning with roaches and queens on basetradetv2 channel. You should totally consider making a vid about guessing when and how this current iteration of alpha decided to make decisions since it scouting bases is such a human thing to do
Hi, sorry for the late answer. Your comment is blast from a past, since I don't play SC2 for a few years by now and don't do any sc2 content for even longer. However since I got AlphaStar games recommended by YT I've decided to watch videos about them and made that comment. I don't really feel like making SC2 content on this channel, because like 99% of public here is for the league of legends, but maybe I should make another channel with SC2 commentaries since they don't take much time and I kind of like to watch sc2 still. I will think about it. If you're interested follow this yt channel or my twitter.com/LuckyGnom. I will post info in the community section here or at twitter when I will open smth related to Sc2.
5:12 did you get this clip from the depths of Iron? Morgana showing herself before the wave crashes, Ekko ulting nothing, J4 and Morg running away instead of collapsing on the Kaisa
@@LuckyGnom How petty do you have to be to look up my elo, when the plays in the clip are objectively bad? Although I really don't see how "strong" said server is based on the clip you showed, bad plays happen in all elos and all servers, my suggestion is try spending a little more time to find better clips if you don't want to make the server look bad.

5:30 what kind of elo is being showcased?
I don't know, but does it matter? I mean would you not trust Fakers' advice, if he shows you examples of himself playing in bronze?
5:12 did you get this clip from the depths of Iron? Morgana showing herself before the wave crashes, Ekko ulting nothing, J4 and Morg running away instead of collapsing on the Kaisa
Morgana played bad, however, it is the same elo as yours with one big difference: it is actually a strong server and not yours server.
