I remember watching this video in particular when my grandmother entered the room. She looked at the TV and said to me "the one singing is very pretty" I was a little unsure if she knew that Vince was not a woman. I had to break it to her that it was a man, she took another look and said OOOPS. We had a nice laugh that day - I miss her, RIP.

You should do what I've been doing lately - listening to all the bands from the late 70s and the 80s - the songs they didn't ever play on the radio - some of them are amazing (you have to listen to them like 3 times to really start to love them )
A lot of things are coming back from clothing to haircuts to even music like Im seeing synth pop coming back
The 80's were awesome and had a style all its very own, nothing will ever compare!!! Awe the memories, my high school even had a smoking area, we actually didnt have to sneak!!! hahahaha
Yeah. I remember the days we were allowed to smoke in school. Me and my girlfriends would go to the girls washroom and smoke between classes. Sometimes even during class time, we would ask to be excused to go to the washroom and we would time the request so we could all meet up there and have a smoke break. Lol
So did my boarding school in '91 and I wasn't even 18 then....😎🚬

We had a little bit of a court yard built into the center of the high school and everyone was there smoking some cold winter days? the neighbors could see all of the smokers (even the teachers and caretakers) inside classrooms by Windows having cigs together with us. I remember an interview they did with MTV right at the time this video came out. They conducted the interview in a bathroom and when asked by the VJ about rumors of their drug use, they all swore up and down about how they don't use drugs and barely drink. You could tell Nikki was high during the interview. I can't help but laugh and remember that every time I see this video.

Even back then the Crue knew the education system was trying to make kids conform! Look at the symbolism in the video, the teachers outfits, the video surveillance and many other things. Notice the puppet analogy of the principle? This video seems to be about other things more than it is about smoking.
