In California, Uber is getting $6.80 per mile after fee's, then paying drivers $0.59 cents per mile, Driver pays for Gas costs. Uber keeps $6.00 per mile! Driver must also pay for all car costs, insurance, etc, out of their $0.59 cents a mile.

The pay most uber drivers make comes out to 10$ per hour or less after expenses. If you choose to make this your full time job that is fine but it's your choice in the end.
