Investigator should be up your alley lol, I didn't even notice the discrepancy in the URL vs. the title of the web page, great catch. But this definitely brings up a good topic, as a Network/Security Architect, I'm always down to learn new skills and solutions, but when mentoring or advocating for those entering the field, this is a good topic (as most folks were eying web developers as the ones that needed to be worried about AI taking over their jobs). Ever-evolving landscape, and honestly, "these are the times" that will separate those that know "tech fundamentals" and can troubleshoot being "agnostic" and not just knowing Cisco, or Juniper, or Fortinet, vs. those that are unwilling to approach problems methodically and using the fundamentals (I know your video wasn't about that, but has me thinking on what skills folks might have to fall back and rely on). Great video as always, and looking forward to the next one.
Definitely you were able to see behind the curtain 😉. People should stop thinking only about networking and start to think more as infrastructure and inside infrastructure there's a lot to learn and understand. Virtualization, automation, system administration and even db administration are things that I believe every IT professional should handle. Those who don't acquire those skills we'll be out of the market not time soon. Right now many are just losing their value... As you said those that know tech fundamentals and want to continue evolving (not through certs) will always find the best spots and opportunities in the market. I hope that by sharing these insights people start to re-think what their priorities should be in the tech world.
Yes, Selésio .It means that I must keep studying cibersecurity .
For sure. Cyber security analysts will always be needed. Systems have a lot of flaws and will get worse before getting better with AI. So keep improving your skills on cyber security
Super !
Thank you very much!
