If we are displaying our bodies like the world does, it can be a hinderance for some people in receiving the Gospel message we are saying through song or through the Word. I personally can look past the clothing--but not everyone can do that! And we as people of God have to be mindful of how we are sharing God's message with the world. Bottom-line... Don't give the devil an inch of a chance to stop someone from receiving the Lord's message.
Modest dressing comes with growth in the Lord. Your view, judgement, and rules are why people are not coming to the church today. God accepted everyone as and where they were. Then, he let his love, presence in their life change them.
