With millions dollars rewarding all elite fighters contending for the championship, Clash of Titans is considered to be the grandest and the most entertaining tournament with all star-studded lineups.
1:43 and 2:46 I could be wrong correct me if I am but from what I've heard from my coach in MT is that hooking behind the leg and sweeping is illegal in Muay Thai rules.
This is why Lerdsila reacted that way, while the first sweep 1:00 he didnt react and gave a glove bumb afterwards when it was a legal clean sweep.
I guess it could be also that the rules they were fighting under didn't have this rule ofcourse, I do not know.
A nice win that aged very well for Lerdsila. At the same time, why was Wei Rui fighting Lerdsila in his 5th pro fight? Wtf is up with Kunlun's matchmaking?
Wei Rui is a K1 champion and some other champions. He's an excellent fighter. Lerd is just a legend.

I hate when a fighter has a huge mismatch like that and instead of knocking the guy out just takes it easy and clowns the whole fight
Lerdsila is just like that lol. Saenchai is kind of the same but he actually fights above his own weight class, so if you have a dude below your own weight class clowning you, you kinda deserve it lol. But you could just chock this fight up to lerd just being cool to a youngblood. I mean... He is one of the greatest strikers of our time lol. Generally I think that most people who go into a fight against someone like Buakaw, Saenchai, or Lerdsila just assume they're gonna do their best but probably be outclassed. You have to fight an absolutely perfect game and give a masterclass to beat the 300+ club
How entertaining would the fight be if they just swing to hell in the first round to knock each other out? Its tactics as well as attracting viewers. Cant hold an event without spectators. Using your time to pick apart somebody elses style in my opinion is one reason you learn martial arts among others
That's the problem lerd doesn't fight to win, he fights to have fun.
That's why he plays around, and riles up the audience, it's fun for him to make an entertaining fight.
Also lerd is just way too good at what he does, his whole style is about provoking his oppent into a strike that he wants, so he can slip and counter.
That's how he gets his dodges. He isn't faster, he just moves first.

I agree that to clown your opponent is bad form. Dont "take it easy" so you look good. The red shorts kicks were fantastic. 28 to 30 is a close fight. So it could have easily gone for him

I think it could easily have gone red shorts. He was very technical with his kicks, while remaining solid enough to get tipped less. I mean, 28 to 30 is really just a good kick and punch away from going the other way.
