Coloured means biracial or multiracial in South Africa its a race classification, it's not an offensive term. Its so weird how words can be so different in different parts of the world.

Yea it’s offensive in US context bc it’s what Black ppl were referred to as by racists and white people during segregation / Jim Crowe. I’m sure there r South African terms that would b considered offensive but not in the US I mean history has much to do w it.

@@donnybuoy This is why I personally think it's in poor taste that Kelon uses that term so liberally, ESPECIALLY with white people because I don't think he realizes how that term and its history isn't as well taught anymore in regards to how offensive it is and its relation to non-white people, but especially in regards to Black people. It's going to be even less taught in the future just because of how those in the government are reacting to the teaching of history that isn't whitewashed.
