There are some games which have a hard impact on your senses. This was certainly one of them. Some of its unique features were 1.lack of any partners or team members to cover you. Mostly you are on your own that used give goosebumps. 2. ability to carry unlimited no of weapons no shit like primary weapon, secondary weapons that gave chance for our mind to tackle situations with different strategies. 3. Excellent storyline with interconnections to previous missions unlikes games today. 4. Excellent combo of stealth and all out attack approach weapons like dragenov, MP5SD3 gave the excitement of stealth while weapons like space 12, jackhammer gave the satisfaction of all out the attack. 5.Alarm System .....all of a suden alarms used to rang .what a frightening moment that used to be we had to rush to a cover reassess our strategy.. 6. Last but certainly not the list was audio deparment.this was the cherry on top of cake not only it had such wonderful and scary soundtracks but it also had some minute sound details like bullet shell drop from snipers, climbing ladder, the sound of icy winds, Thunderstorm sounds and that infamous hey you!!!!. all of this made us think that we are actually David jones that level of involvement very few games managed to touch.Thx for soundtracks....
All pretty standard for every FPS game worth a damn. I get that IGI 1 was great and I grew up playing it. But why do you have to throw shade at contemporary games to suck IGI off?

I had played this game from starting to end thousands of time. I used to play this game when i was 7-8 yrs old. Even me as 7-8yr old kid can play far far better than this gameplay. Even the number of enemies were known to me by heart. My childhood has more memories of IGI than gully cricket. Even today if I get this game back on my laptop, I can 200% complete the full game in 1-1.5hours... :)
why not having a music on, Rambo? IGI had one of the best sound tracks I heard in games. Music from this airport mission stuck in my head for 13 years already... fantastic

I couldn't find out that we have to destroy tank for many months.. Just randomly came to know that rocket launcher guy.. And was so excited to unlock new stages afterwards.. That feeling was indescribable.. Today you cannot have such fan as youtube all solution there.. We were in golden age

This is crap!! Once u see Priboi is not there, u can trace back the route from where you entered in the facility to outside, without any hassle and trouble.

Igi 2 is more difficult with the new dynamic crosshair. Also you cannot pick unlimited weapons. Stealth factor is also introduced
