I love Frankie Edgar. Hall of Famer, All Time Great, and an amazing guy....but his time as champion is over unfortunately. I think in his prime he beats most, if not all, the guys he's lost to in the past few years.

Been a fan of his since the beginning when he was doing the unimaginable against dudes at 155.. and would always root for the dude. Favorite Fighter by a long shot. He’s a great dude in and outside of the cage. I have nothing but respect for him. But wouldn’t mind if Frankie were to hang ‘em up soon though cus as a long time fan (More than 10 years or) followed dude from his MTV Episode of True Life haha. It’s absolutely crushing to see some of the Finishes that Frankie’s been getting lately.
Absolutely fucking sucks that He gave Everything to the UFC and now he’s been reduced to the one they use to feed their New contenders and New fighters are making a name off of him. I say give Frankie favorable matches now so he can ride off into the sunset.
Or he’ll give dude what he’s owed and Make that McGregor Fight he earned so long ago that never happened as he would have completely derailed that Hype train Immediately had they booked Him as the first title defense as was planned.
Another fight I like is a bout against Dominick Cruz as he’s another fighter that looks to be on the way out and it’s insane to think that at one point BOTH Cruz & Edgar were the Best of their Divisions and were the Champ of the division At the Same Time!! And now they’re Both in the same Division and on the way out now. To me that’s the perfect fight for both of them.
Although I’d argue the perfect fight for Dom rn is actually the Rematch with Cody Garbrandt. As imo it’s a win win as if Dom wins he not only gets Revenge but earns a title shot.. and if Cody Wins it helps build his confidence back up like what happened with the Assancao fight. Plus let’s be honest this fight for another 5 rounds … with both of those chins… there’s no way in hell that shit goes all 5.. hell there’s no way that shit even enters the 3rd Round as either Dom gets cracked (I don’t think he can take another shot like he previously did against Cody) OR Dom Sneezes and indirectly KO’s Garbrandt as that dudes chin is so fucked up he has to be careful when he drives with the car windows down .. as just a gust of wind and dude is out Cold!
