I am getting texture loss all of the time but have high frame rate, no stuttering, or lag, leading me to believe that my processing power is not being taxed. Also using less than half of the available graphics memory as well!

But when I went into the TM It only showed one application after hitting the down arrow which is the right one. Then when I right click it to go to details. I'm not given that option. I have Switch to, bring to front, Minimize, Maximize and End Task. So that one threw me off there. UPDATE: Okay I just right clicked on the FiveM in the task bar instead of clicking the arrow down and went into details that was. Thanks great job showing in detail what to do. ♥♥

guys fivem has the problem,i have 2 years to solve this problem but i still have it.Fivem March 2021 upadate on settings Extended texture budget and if you have it up throw you and if you have it down again dont load texture and throw you,so the best solution is to go settings and remove it
For reference, I have a gtx 1050 ti and an i5 7400 with 16GB of ram. You do not need to turn everything down if you have a decent pc. The major things you need to turn off or down are the settings that require restarting the game. This is for Texture loss not fps boosting although some of these settings do have fps impacts so it can give a bit of a boost.
@@V0DK1 Anything that requires a restart. Those are the major ones that cause texture loss. But remember while it can boost fps this is only to fix texture loss. If your having frame rate issues try turning down other settings to.
along with turning down the graphics turn up the extended texture budget but make sure that graphics bar is still green or youll have constant stutters and freezing
The solution is go to your settings.xml and delete the setting about extended texture budget, IT IS NOT ABOUT YOUR SPECS I play with ryzen 3 2200g and no texture loss only some lag
