Hi Kat and thanks. We used natural granite on the floor and for the raised beds.For the beds, the slabs were laid onto a mortar and then a layer of concrete was poured behind, making the outer wall around 4 inches thick.
What brand of turf is that. I love the darker color. I live in a desert where grass doesn't do well and want to do my tiny backyard in artificial turf.

Hi Daniel and thanks for watching.It would be a sin to paint natural granite or any of the paving we lay ! The paving is very cleanly machine cut when it comes to us, so the edges can be butted together perfectly.
I'm curious why the pavers did not fit perfectly. The left side has a sliver and then a couple pavers back another wider not square piece. It is a beautiful design though.
Call me OCD but I would have taken out that raised planter on the left side and squared it up with the patio. That little triangle sliver if stone and it not being square would bug me while sitting out on the patio.
That indoor/outdoor carpet wasn’t a wise choice seeing how everything else was top scale was it? I mean won’t it need vacuumed? Maybe shampooed? Will it dry rot?

So, instead of a garden they have made "garden", something more like shopping mall interior yet on the open air.
How do you manage water from rain? Doesn't it collect in the patio pit?

As was said in a previous comment, we set drainage by the house which takes the rainwater back into the garden.
That is one lonely tree. No other plants to talk to, not even a blade of grass!
