I disagree that someone had a grudge, but this happened due to the culture on set and productions blatant disregard for safety, it's not just the fault of one person who'd only been working there for 2 weeks and whose bosses told her she was making too big a deal about the guns misfiring before this happened.
The Police Dept. was understaffed and did not secure the movie set properly. There were over 100 people on the set, wandering around & not separated, so rumors went wild before statements were taken. Someone has to "take the rap", even though Alec pulled the trigger. I guess this young, irresponsible, party girl will suit the cops just fine. What really happened that day?

I said this to my brother when we were chatting about the case: to do any job you need to have both the ability to do it but also the right temperament. Regardless of her background and knowledge of firearms and ammo', she's simply too careless to do such a responsible job.
Suggestions - She could of educated herself with certifications ie :CCW , she should of documented all ammo loaded and unloaded, log who loaded guns, etc ... I have a CCW for Home safety guns we have.
