That was beautiful thank you. Experience is the big teacher only then have we learned through experience. All MBE’s writings were made through life experience, showing the way for us all.
so beautiful and sweet. I loved the piano opening at the beginning, throughout, and at the end. In my heart, I feel like I am being led back in the right direction, back to a recognition of who I truly am -- and not just me, but everyone on this earth, even though it may be hard to grasp, it being no "cakewalk," because human beliefs find it so easy to slip away into what the senses have to say. I have at times had moments when it was so easy, in times of tribulation, to ruminate over hardships when I should have counted my blessings more. Gratitude is a precept to be practiced daily, on the same level as "standing porter at the door of thought," as Mrs. Eddy writes -- and I myself have strayed more than once, in all honesty. But what does a shepherd do when it is brought to light that one of his flock has gone MIA (missing in action)? He does not give up, but goes and searches hours on top of hours, even days on end, until the lost sheep is found. Then he brings it back with great rejoicing and unfailing tenderness, comforting the frightened sheep. Father-Mother God is like that shepherd, bringing back to the straight path him that is strayed, and issuing a gentle rebuke should he be tempted again. Many are the struggles and hardships we encounter, yet, it is not too late to learn, and even re-learn and practice daily, the value of watching one's thoughts during tribulation as well. With God, there is no "too late."
What a beautiful series! Thank you so much for this. God bless each of you amazing folks at the Longyear Museum. I truly enjoy your work preserving Mrs. Eddy's legacy and also the chance to absorb the wonderful Rich historical context of the times in which she lived.
I just found this series and listened to two of them while working in the Reading Room. Wonderfully done!
Next to Jesus no else has blessed my life more than Mary Baker Eddy. Thanks be to Mother/Father God 🙏❤️🙏❤️
