BACKSTORY: Alan Moore, a rich business entrepreneur who runs his own private security company, is hoping for a relaxing cruise on his 10 million dollar yacht, "The Almighty". However it soon becomes clear upon leaving port that the crew on board the yacht are not the ones that were assigned to the voyage. In fact its the crew of Robert Knight, a notorious British heister wishing to grab Moore's security bank account codes,
as well as all the weapon assets the company owns. However when it becomes clear that also on board the boat is Moore's hired bodyguard, ex-CIA agent Kevin Brooks, a battle for control of the yacht soon ensues,
will Kevin be able to save the ship before it goes on a permanent SOS?

Wow! This movie certainly took a lot more thinking, and cracking than The Hunt did. So The Takeover is a brand new type of movie for NightBeauty Pictures, firstly its mainly not a cop movie, but more of an
action thriller movie, being a fan myself of movies like Speed 2. Cruise Control, Air Force One, and The Taking of Pelham One Two Three movies, I really wanted to be able to make my own type of movie.
So the idea for a yacht to be taken over in the middle of the pacific came up. Character development began as usual, with my dedicated voice actor and best friend Sheldon Thomas. Who suggested that the voice acting
be done BEFORE the shooting started, to allow for lines to better fit in, and give better animations that suited each dialogue. It really paid off! I love this new method and I hope you guys do too. And another big
improvement over The Hunt is the new audio system we are using to record our voices. My microphone built into my S5 phone, we found its quality was A LOT, better than the desktop mic used for The Heist and
The Hunt, hope you guys like it a lot better! Recorded our dialogue in 6 hours in 1 day back in April in a cupboard under my stairs for less echo and background noise, certainly was uncomfortable being stuffed in there for
so long with only a flashlight for lighting. But it was worth it! Filming began on April 29th, and ended on July 25th. I lost an entire month of development in June due to being in the USA for the month, which is why
this one has been quite a long time coming.. This film used widescreen for the first time, and I really focused on the use of filters, the filter you saw throughout the majority of the film was Graveyard shift. Nostalgia
was used for the crew hanger shots, and Divinity was used for underwater shots for the really sweet flare it gave to the ocean. The 2 hardest parts of this movie to shoot was definitely the Naval response, which
required nearly 80 actors doing tasks on the carrier deck, which took 5 hours to set up as a movie set. The 2nd hardest part and probably the highlight action sequence of the film, was the final helicopter showdown.
That was a hard one! There's some things I didn't quite like about the scene, but overall I was really happy with it. Something I have never tried before. The helicopter showdown was sort of inspired by the helicopter
fight scene in the opening of SPECTRE. The parachute scene was also a lot of fun to film, and the day before I filmed that scene, I went out to go watch real sky divers, the red devils here in the UK, where I took
reference videos and photos. That really paid off for me as I had something solid to work with then. All of the interior shots of the yacht were filmed at the yacht near Del Perro Pier, and my god I can't tell you
how hard it was to try and cut out the San Andreas coastline in shots, Unfortunately it did appear in the corner of some shots, and buildings reflected in windows. But it luckily isn't too noticeable. The exterior shots,
and the shots of the yacht driving out to the ocean were done with a mod thats sadly no longer up, but it was a Yacht deluxe that was driveable. Which really made this film possible, however the interior in it was
poorly textured, missing parts, and glitchy as hell, no way I could of used it for all of filming. But it did its job! Anyway, thats it! Another one out the sausage machine. I hope you enjoyed the film, as for the future,
I am going to take a break from feature long movies for a few months and work on much smaller projects to get more content out.

I've got a rough idea for a show you could do. Story of 2 beat cops in South Central Los Santos. One of them is fresh out of the academy and does everything by the book. The other, his partner, has been on the job for years and is known by all the local gangs. He.. doesn't do everything by the book, if you get me.
