Yeah the cabin is just a few pounds from the wpl website. That turned out to be an expensive paint job . It was a 150ml candy purple from tamia I believe except 1 £15 spray can didn't cover it and it was a bit windy when I was painting it and 2 can's didn't cover it nether it took 4 plus the lacquer so ended up a £75 paint job 🙄😞. But it looks cool if you ignore the blemishes 😁 Ever since I use 400ml cans and just general purpose acrylic paint every bit as good as the posh paint 🙃 And a UK Halfords general purpose lacquer spray can 🙂
It's a great color. I am also tuning this car. I'm curious about your tuning history. I am upgrading the 2 speed 370 motor gearbox, LED and ESC etc. Are your tires 72mm?
Yeah I like to tinker with them in my spare time when I'm not at work driving a lorry your upgrades are good choices. For the suspension links the mn99 metal links work well and are very reliable. The only issue with the 2 speed is clearance for the selector rod with the top suspension link mount/arm I've used the 2 speed in other wpl models and it works well I'm yet to do the 2 speed on a C24 but there are work round's. I think the tyres are 70mm but they might be 72 I can't remember off hand but when I'm back home next I'll try and remember to measure them for you But they are the wpl V4 soft tyres.
@@suvsteve I've seen several videos on your channel. How many C24s do you have? Haha, maybe you are a master of C24. I am installing a 2-speed 370 motor gearbox (no WPL). When installed according to the frame's original hole, the gearbox is not located in the center, so the length of the propeller shaft is different. I predict that the different length of the shaft will interfere with driving, but the ESC has not been delivered yet, so I have not been able to test it. I'll learn a lot from you. thanks.
I think the standard length shafts should work but I can't be certain . I have. 3 wpl c14s 4 wpl c24s and a c24 km I have yet to build and yeah multiples of every C series 🫣😆 And so on I don't actually know how many rc's I have in total ATM 😬 Probably around 70 if I had to guess from many brands and scales from 1.32 up to 1.6 th
