Hello ma. I really appreciate you for the tutorial. I am having problem with when washing the mesh under top water, anytime I'm washing it my art work also washes away leaving the art work very faintly. Please what am I doing wrong ma. I would truly appreciate your your reply soon.
Pls is it the inside and outside of the mesh you washed wt water or just the outer part where you placed the paper? And must the glass be covering all the parts of the design on the paper or it's not necessary it covers all? Thanks so much for your detailed tutorial ma'am
Ma'am damide please can you use desame process u use to transfer the write up from the paper to the mesh on the t-shirts printing on the nylon printing too? Thanks.
Please after seeing how a mesh is been coated I have some questions to ask ma'am. Please what is the name of the chemical you used in coating it? Secondly, how do we exposed names or pictures on mesh effectively after it's been coated? Thanks so much even as I anticipate your hearty responses. Thanks richly for the teachings, may you be rewarded highly.
Pls Damilola, i'm a bag maker, & i want to learn how to write or draw on my book. Please, can u teach me how to do i am interested in ur classes. Where is ur location?
Glad to see the women take up the challenge in the screen printing business(not being a sexist). Suggestion: Instead of using a bowl that is kind of time wasting, why not use a spritz or spray bottle with water. Keep up the good work.
Dami, are you going to teach on how to use the exposing light box ? in a situation whereby the climate is very dull. Also, i want to ask if i can use cotton wool to introduce kerosine on the artwork. Thanks

Yes.
Thanks for the information. Please what do I do if some places of the design on the mesh after exposing is not smooth
Re- expose it. That from the beginning and re-expose it. It's means the exposure is not done properly.
We know the emulsion is white how come to blue..
And when we finish our work how we go to clean the mesh with petrol or kerosine
Please after seeing how a mesh is been coated I have some questions to ask ma'am.

Pls Damilola, i'm a bag maker, & i want to learn how to write or draw on my book. Please, can u teach me how to do i am interested in ur classes. Where is ur location?
What did you rub on the mesh? I mean the blue colour on the mesh.
Emulsion.
Is it compulsory to use a glass when exposing?
It's necessary
Glad to see the women take up the challenge in the screen printing business(not being a sexist).
Suggestion: Instead of using a bowl that is kind of time wasting, why not use a spritz or spray bottle with water.
Keep up the good work.
Thank so much. I appreciate your suggestion.
Please am having problems while exposing my mesh, the emulsion is washing out when I try to wash out the art work
You have not gotten your exposure time right. That is the main reason.
Can this type of printing be done on a banner? Thanks.
Yes
Pls ma d A4 paper is it something dat we can do on our phone den take it to photocopy shop to print it out
Yes you can
How can you identify expired emulsion/sensitizer
Where can I get all the materials for screen printing.
Is it necessary to add kerosene or cooking oil while placing the artwork on the mesh?
Yes! Very important part of exposure process. Without it your art work will not come out.
please ma, what happens if the dichromate is too much or if not enough?
You can get your exposure right
Pls can there be too much time for exposure. That is, if we expose for say 10mins, what will be the implication
It will burn.
Please am a new student, can you use top bond and Dichromate to coat your screen
I don't know about top bond but you can use emulsion to coat your mesh, you will add dicromate in to emulsion
@@DamideTv please where can I get the emulsion
@@FuseiniTagoe-dc4zx Ask any printer around you. They will direct you.
What is the time for the exposure?
Ma, what is the measurement of dicromate u add to the emulsion
If you using transparent paper, is there still a need for the kerosene/oil?
Yes.
Hello. Just curious about that transparency paper. Do you know where I can get one?
Been looking for it like forever.

Yes you can
Dami, are you going to teach on how to use the exposing light box ? in a situation whereby the climate is very dull. Also, i want to ask if i can use cotton wool to introduce kerosine on the artwork. Thanks
Yes you can use cotton wool. Just make sure the kerosene is on the artwork. I will teach how to use it.
Is this the same process for nylons?
Yes.
But why is one side of the mesh blue and the other white
The blue part was the coated part. I did not coat the other side
Thank you once again. Can it be over exposed? I mean can it stay for too long in the sun and get ruined?
Yes it can burn.
