I don’t like the taste of rose water or orange blossom so I use vanilla or cardamom pods. I just fish out and discard the pods once the semolina pudding and the sugar syrup is cooked. I suppose you could use powder too but I like the whole stuff better. Thank you for the Aashta recipe. I used canned puck/nestle cream as per other TH-cam videos I came across.
I just made it with a little bit variations. I added cream cheese in the top ashta cream layer and put a crushed biscuit layer in bottom like cheesecake 😋 We will serve it in suhoor and see hows the taste.
Love your tutorial. You explain so clearly and I’m going to try this. Please consider not playing music because it takes away from you speaking. The music fights with you talking. I want to hear you not music. Thank you very much.
First time I was lazy to make ashta and just used crème fraîche lol but this time I followed all your steps znd OMG it tasted absolutely delicious 🤤 everyone loved it and it was the perfect dessert for my Middle Eastern eid brunch
hello sir. do you know to make Lebanese roti ( flat bread ). we used to have it Nigeria country. but after coming back to India we couldn't eat/ get it. so if you could show us in your next video I will be grateful to you. thank you and bye.
Hi Jyothi, thank you for leaving a message. I am happy to share my Roti recipe with you. Ill try to put it together the soonest, subscribe so you get the update :)
In alot of videos, i see people use whipped cream in place of ashta layer. I wonder which one is the authentic.. nonetheless I'll be trying this recipe as i alway mess up while making whipping cream. :) thank you for this chef.
As a lebanese I can confirm ashta os the authentic version, in all my time in Lebanon iv never seen anybody use cream in place of ashta , bit I do see alpt of recipes online from people not living in Lebanon use cream, maybe they can't find it where they live
I made this, and it was delicious . Only I made my syrup rose coloured , by adding rose syrup ... I found it prettier .👌
thank you so much for your reply. hope to see soon your Lebanese roti. I'm waiting for that. thank you. bye.

What is the time duration for cooling after the Ashta cream layer ??
Hi Samarah, I let it cool to room temperature. I add the syrup before serving to avoid soaking the cream.
It looks soo yummyyy❤❤❤❤
Thank you :)
Love it
Thank you 😊
Can I use roasted semolina ?
@@amreensaifi1829 yes works very well ❤️🩹
sorry what is semolina? is there anything i could replace with if i don't have semolian 😊😊
Hi, Semolina is made from Durum wheat. I don't think there is something you can exchange it for with the same effect. :(
Could you make a recipe for people that have diabetes

Which semolina is used is it coarse or fine?
I use fine semolina
@@UrbanTreats thank u much love from india😀❤
Thank you much love right back at you 🥰🥰🥰
CAME ACROSS THIS RECIPE TODAY BUT WON'T THE TASTE DIFFER BY ADDING 2 DIFFERENT EXTRACTS?
Add one or the other, it will impact the after taste but both are used.
You didn’t add lemon for syrup that syrup will goes hard when becomes cold
Hi, you dont need to add lemon, sugar caramelises at 160 degrees, if you dont over cook it, it will not turn hard
TÜRKÇEE
Please speake loud & slowly
Doesnt work out. Too much milk in proportion to semiolina
No its definitely correct, i follow it every time i make it, maybe something else went wrong?
