Could you do a comparison between this mb and GIGABYTE A620I AX with all the rest of the compoenets the same? like the ryzen 5 7600, and show the thermals on the vrms and maybe which one can get better performance when undervolted
Thanks for sharing this. I was afraid of the BIOS, but it seems pretty capable for an A620. Now I'm seriously considering it for an APU SFF build. I was originally considering ROG Strix B650E-I, but it seems too expensive to me. Sadly B650I Lightning is barely available in my country, and overpriced.
@@koaronD Well, I ended up going for a Gigabyte B650 for my office PC and Aorus B550 for my little gaming rig. I still prefer a bit less cut-down motherboards and BIOSes.
Thanks for settings, i have a mini itx build and i looked for info that a620i it cannot do curve -30/-50 settings - but essentially offset is just the same thing and it is possible then. I set ppt/ edc etc myself and it works, just a little touch on the offset and it will be quiet, fast, and chill.
hey man nice video , i gota small question , the ddr5 tcreate classic was XMP profile , ithough i wont run with amd mobo , and can you active a XMP profile on the mobo bios ? , hope you can answer this question
Any noticeable cool whine on this MB? Had terrible luck with Gigabyte A620I AX boards had to return two due to horrible coil whine on the motherboard !
Hi, is the T-Create RAM XMP profile automatically recognised on AMD boards? Or do you need to manually set the timings? I see in your other video you also have Asus X670e-i motherboard, and I was thinking of purchasing the T-Create RAM.
All recently used AM5 socket motherboards have recognized 6000 CL48 clock, which is the JEDEC standard timing for T-Create RAM, as 5200 CL42 clock. (This probably automatically changes to the standard value in the BIOS to match the 5200 clock, which is the standard value for the Ryzen 7000 series.) Fortunately, the XMP (EXPO) profile item marked 6000 CL48 clock on most motherboards, and if you changed the profile, it applied well to the original clock and timing of the memory.
You can update the BIOS with the Instant Flash menu on the Tool tab. If you insert a BIOS file in USB memory and run the Instant Flash function, you will automatically search the directory and get a pop-up window.

Total PC newb here. Am I right to assume that A620 has less undervolt/overvolt options than a B650 board? Does a B650 have any significant advantage over this board?
If you're going to customize the various PBO settings yourself, the B650 chipset board is good. On the other hand, if you're going to simply use the TJMax Limit and undervolting options, the A620 chipset motherboard is good enough. (It's a bonus that the motherboard is cheap.)
If I were you, I would still choose a product from a well-known company. In the case of Jginyue products, the price was much cheaper than that of competitors, but there was a part that was embarrassing when I actually used them.
I think it's a reasonably priced motherboard with enough specs to use the 7700X and RTX4080. It's a great motherboard unless you're going to fine-tune your PBO settings in the BIOS.
@@DalraeMyo I have the Asrock A620i with a 7800X3D and can not find the option to undervolt the cpu. The option 'OC Tweaker\External Voltage Settings\VDDCR_CPU Voltage' is missing? Hello sir, is your a620i making a strange whining sound from behind the motherboard? Can this be said to be a sign that the motherboard will be damaged? Some say the coil is whine, the sound is not loud but this is the first time I noticed this after using it for a week, if I put my ear close to the back of the motherboard like an old computer that uses a hard disk, I'm quite worried if this is an indication that it will be damaged
