Watching any of your NAMAC vids is bittersweet. I love seeing new brands like Aoli, old secret favorites like Grell and all the amazing Norevs. I love seeing them but get sad at the prospect of never attending one of these. I simply have to go to one.

A fun tidbit about the Siku Autotransporter. The trailer casting dates back to the late 1960s back when Siku was still producing cars in the 1:60 scale range, it was modified a few times though as the top level used to be lower, so if that Beetle couldn't fit on the bottom level now it sure as hell wouldn't fit in an original one.

1:09:10 in the late 70's Renault bought Saviem and Berliet and became Renault Vehicule Industriels , in the late 90's /2000's Iveco bought the Bus operation of RVI and it became Irisbus which was again renamed to Iveco Bus few years ago, later-on Volvo AB ( Truck division ) bought the other part of RVI and it became Renault Truck

Love this vid because just starting this hobby so I don't understand the discounts. The discounted prices are so odd. Can you explain how you get discounts on the Namac? Never went there so I want to prepare myself.
Sometimes discounts are offered by the seller like Blondie will have bins next to her table with discounted items in them. Some sellers will offer discounts if you buy multiple examples for example a car costs €2.50 but they have an offer 'buy 5 for €10' so that's €2 each. When I'm buying more than one item from a seller and the seller is not offering a discount, I will try to reach a gentleman's agreement on a discount. For example the Lamborghini seller I owed €27 for the stuff I bought. I offered him €25 and he accepted. So that's 7.41% off, which I deducted from each item I bought from him, hence the odd prices. I hope that explains it ;-)

@TheQuirkyGarage1999 They were make of Duroplast, some kind of plastic as you know. Western car journalists joked that they were made of cardboard (pappe). There were actual racing Trabants, hence the nickname.
