Saruman also a good threat killer too. Like for siege units.. not just general units but for taking out heavy units as well.and supporting units with his speech craft.. just that you have to meat shield him more

UPDATE - I have just discovered that the mouth of sauron and nazguls are much better at taking down enemy resource production buildings. They are also a HELL OF A LOT CHEAPER than buying fellbeast, they have more armor (for what they are) agaisnt enemy archers and they are really quick, especially when you set their stance to aggressive stance (which increased their speed). if they ever do run into archers you can just set them to defensive, but personally I just run straight through a group of enemy archers... it doesnt end there. once youve destroyed a few enemy production buildings you also level up your heroes quickly resulting in you gaining powers like dread visage earlier resulting in a boost early game, especially when you gather them back to your fortress and join up with archers you have started to produce from your orc pits. trust me nazguls and mouth of sauron is the way to go, CAH are also very good too if they have leadership. However it takes a lot of skill to use nazguls, speaking from experience, since nazguls can be weak when not used as well as they can be. you should always be well aware of their health and where they are in game so they dont run into an army or pikes and die almost instantly. I find with nazguls you should always try and duke the enemy, dodge attacks whilst providing a bonus to troops or debuff against the enemy. BUT I CANT STRESS THIS ENOUGH, stay aware of your nazguls so you can dodge attacks that would otherwise damage or kill hem.
mordor is a great faction early to mid game, especially if you use the attack trolls wisely. two attack trolls can destroy a fortress in no time. i remember using mordor against my friends, and they were always helpless and frustrated. but the attack trolls strategy will only work if your opponent hasn't experienced it yet.
Bryant Martin im sry but thats rubbish, isengard are the most ubderrated faction in thte game. they should be one of the top. they have 2nd best pikemen, lurtz! wargs (howl ability), resource powers. its just that people arent very skillful when playing as isen. not only that their army is fast, including their pikemen. They even have block wall formation for uruk hai. A load of baloney is what I say.
Micro, Micro and Micro... thats my number 1 strategy. retreat, distract, push forwards and so on... dont give the enemy points by letting them kill your army... the less you lose the better... also vision might be more useful than one thinks so you can cater your army to counter theirs..
the best weapon that mordor can use against catapults and other siege units is mouth of sauron since hes a real tank (even stronger than nazgul) and at lvl 3 he has ''evil eye'' which is great for taking out threats like catapults. otherwise nazguls still do the trick.. mordors meteor shot power thing (cant remember the name) is also fantastic at taking out multiple catapults and of course is rechargeable and well worth buying late game... or fellbeast but be very careful for archers... so basically mos, nazgul, meteor tower or fellbeast...
the best thing you can do is to mix up your army and keep in mind what the opposint faction is and what units they are using... learning whats effective against what is key...

im doing exactly like you did but my nazghul gets killed almost immediately after i reach enemys base and my base gets overrun at middle... whats happening?
Modor is my favorite but the huge problem im facing is that if they target our recsources which away from our base that take us lower income and hard to defense how to protect the away resorces
What would you recommend doing to counter another Mordor player? If we both have early Fellbeasts, neither of us will attack each other because it would be suicide.
+Voduke mordor vs mordor, better go for Mouth of Sauron + Fire Arrows on your fort. Costs the same with fellbeast BUT you have a safe base (his fell wont attack for long with fire arrows on your fort) and in the meantime you can destroy all his farms with your MoS.
Thanks. That sounds effective, but why not build 1-2 archer towers instead of fire arrows? It would save a good chunk of resources as well as still fending off the enemy, even if one gets destroyed.

Mumakil simply not worth the resources. Better make attack trolls instead. Cost the same but are faster and good for attacking as well. Keep in mind that attack trolls can be used for defending against cavalry too, so in late game spearmen are not needed.
Okay, makes sense. But are the Haradrim archers any good? Or how should I cover myself in terms of archery? Also on a side note, I noticed that catapults for fortress extensions catch some of my buildings and units on fire. So to combat this, I switch the ammo type to skulls or fear ammo for the catapults facing my buildings, and fireballs for the side where the enemy comes from. What are your thoughts on that?
Nobody really uses mordor archers. The reason is mordor doesnt have a tower that you can place the archers inside and protect them against cavalry. Switching some catapults to fear is smart, but remember this is only a counter measure. Most of the work at your fort will be done by your heroes and attack trolls.
Not true I used Mordor archers a lot and they are underestimated... when you use tainted land, war chant, CAH leadership, eye of sauron, nazguls dread visage and aggresive stance, you can really maximise their use in game. in game i usually keep the archers behind my fortress so that when cavalry approaches they slow down a lot due to my fortress defences... sometimes you can place them behind buildings which grants further protection. it's effectively like using the fortress as a giant meat shield. when the enemy arrives and slows down you can then introduce your archers to take them down, like element of surprise, catch the enemy off guard. furthermore if you purchased ''doom pyres'' you get an extra leaderhsip bonus. When you equip fire arrows they become overpowered... they can tear down anything in its path. but you have to make full use of different leadership bonuses, stances, support characters and the environment. if their is a threat approaches like cavalry i simply move my archers away to the other side of the fortress and let my fortress take care of the threat with its archer towers. the last game i played which was 1 vs 4 brutal i got a kill to death ratio of 5.2 kills to every death. archers are great against pikemen, enemy archers, monsters and even enemy heroes.

Kord Vasec Try youtube for serial or google it or something. I am not sure why this happens. I remember it happened to me one time when i changed my serial. After i uninstalled and reinstalled with different serial game worked fine once again. So if this doesn't work for you i m afraid i m out of ideas.

pls only use orcs early game, dont use them mid game, your basically giving it to the enemy.. they are great in numbers but die quick... use corsairs or easterlings... instead of sending groups of 1, send groups of 2 to the farms so they can effectively finish it off.
I tryed 2 more diffrent serials and again the same,I just wait for my fort to blow,I saw these cd key fixers,the white trees and stuff but they dont seem to work,Im completly lost and tired of trying,I love this game so much and will not stop until it works,no matter what..
Paolo Montemaggi Maeglin has said many times that he's so used to playing Version 1.00 that he probably will never play another version. I'm used to 1.00 as well but been playing the Edain Mod for a couple of months. I agree it it amazing, although I think for online play it's not as good as Bfme 2, I only play offline though and for that it is probably the best alternative of this game. But asking him if he'll try it doesn't hurt, I just think he won't ^^

Maeglin SonofEol one of the best tactics ive ever seen is to use untamed allegiance against goblin lairs and then buy really cheap units.. personally it wouldnt matter if they had 1 health point since they are simply buying time and normal goblins are just as weak that their health still doesnt make a difference since they still get one hit by most enemies.. but it makes sense to have cheapest and weakest goblin warriors etc etc.. you can literally pump out armies with devastating efficiency and most importantly cheaply.. i think thats key for mordor and goblins... i mean why waste precious resource on crappy units?
Mordor is the worst faction in my experience. The orc pumps are 500 to upgrade, orc units can't be upgraded and are very expensive, plus the towers are actually weaker and don't allow archers to piggy back on them and the faction can neither build walls, tunnels or be able to heal aside from cannibalism, and that only heals orcs and trolls. The only good thing about the Mordor faction are the nazguls, trolls and catapults which can break a base in no time flat. Don't bother with other units, just get a few orc archer guards, rally an army of siege engines and mobilize. The Mordor units are extremely difficult to play with conservatively or defensively, so just go out there and smite some fools with as much siege power as you can muster.
+speeddemon847 no need to upgrade your orc pits. Just build 6-7 of them and start spamming. Remember orcs get bonus damage % when they are in groups larger than 5. Use eye of sauron on them and you will see the power of those little orcs.
Kubijáš your right mordor IS for experts.. i think all factions have a handicap or general rating in rank.. but definately mordor are considered hardest to play with...
I agree it is challenging to play Mordor. But thats why I play as them, because of difficulty factor it makes them the most fun faction to play.. it's a challenge. I will research the ABSOLUTE SHIP out of Mordor.

I tryed 2 more diffrent serials and again the same,I just wait for my fort to blow,I saw these cd key fixers,the white trees and stuff but they dont seem to work,Im completly lost and tired of trying,I love this game so much and will not stop until it works,no matter what..

Can I suggest you to try to play the Edain Mod?
In my opinion it's amazing.
Paolo Montemaggi Maeglin has said many times that he's so used to playing Version 1.00 that he probably will never play another version. I'm used to 1.00 as well but been playing the Edain Mod for a couple of months. I agree it it amazing, although I think for online play it's not as good as Bfme 2, I only play offline though and for that it is probably the best alternative of this game. But asking him if he'll try it doesn't hurt, I just think he won't ^^

Despite the fact how much you know about lotr bfme 2 I bet that you have already met bfme2 autodefeat bug,it returned to me after 2 years of playing,any advice,I reinstalled it allready,still 3.30,defeated,I also try to download autodef, fix,the same problem,any advice,I will really apreicciate..
Kord Vasec autodefeat has to do with the serial you are using. So uninstall, reinstall and try to use another serial number. It should work.

your making a guide for 4000.... 1k is the challenge not 4k 4k is easy and btw we need guides cus we have some tournaments and tournaments are always 1k so 1k guide is better
The variation of units is nice but the orcs are expensive and can't wear upgraded weapons or armor, i think mordor sucks
+Mats Orcs cost only 100. They are the second cheapest unit after goblin warriors.
Maeglin SonofEol one of the best tactics ive ever seen is to use untamed allegiance against goblin lairs and then buy really cheap units.. personally it wouldnt matter if they had 1 health point since they are simply buying time and normal goblins are just as weak that their health still doesnt make a difference since they still get one hit by most enemies.. but it makes sense to have cheapest and weakest goblin warriors etc etc.. you can literally pump out armies with devastating efficiency and most importantly cheaply.. i think thats key for mordor and goblins... i mean why waste precious resource on crappy units?
Mordor is the worst faction in my experience. The orc pumps are 500 to upgrade, orc units can't be upgraded and are very expensive, plus the towers are actually weaker and don't allow archers to piggy back on them and the faction can neither build walls, tunnels or be able to heal aside from cannibalism, and that only heals orcs and trolls. The only good thing about the Mordor faction are the nazguls, trolls and catapults which can break a base in no time flat. Don't bother with other units, just get a few orc archer guards, rally an army of siege engines and mobilize. The Mordor units are extremely difficult to play with conservatively or defensively, so just go out there and smite some fools with as much siege power as you can muster.
+speeddemon847 no need to upgrade your orc pits. Just build 6-7 of them and start spamming. Remember orcs get bonus damage % when they are in groups larger than 5. Use eye of sauron on them and you will see the power of those little orcs.

Kubijáš your right mordor IS for experts.. i think all factions have a handicap or general rating in rank.. but definately mordor are considered hardest to play with...
I agree it is challenging to play Mordor. But thats why I play as them, because of difficulty factor it makes them the most fun faction to play.. it's a challenge. I will research the ABSOLUTE SHIP out of Mordor.
