Due to a mistake again🙇🏼♂️, here is the re-upload👏🏻👏🏻 The Chusovitina is one of the my favoritel skill who is the best Chusovitina player?? What do u think??
A Few Notes regarding Tuzhikova and the Naming of this Element: 1. While Tuzhikova performed this element at the 1987 World Championships, I don't see her name listed in subsequent COPs until the 1993 - 1996 COP, as Element 8.505. 2. Beginning with the 1997 - 2000 COP, the Tuzhikova and Chusovitina are placed in the same box under Element 6.509. 3. Tuzhikova's name is eliminated from the COP from 2006 - 2021, but returns in the 2022 - 2024 COP. Also, beginning in 2006, the descriptions of full-in and full-out are removed from the COP and the element is simply described as a double layout with full twist.
The most annoying thing about the FIG and the named elements in the CoP is that they never offer any explanation as to why certain elements are credited as an eponymous skill or why others are removed from the CoP. It seems completely arbitrary and random from CoP to CoP, and there is no justification for the changes.
@@captainbryce1 they’re not going to offer explanations on their own. What people need to do is write letters to their country’s gymnastics federation and press the representative at the FIG to request the information formally to the technical committee. As members they have the right to know how the code of points document was edited.
I know the code no longer acknowledges what phase of the flip the twist occurs, but to me the "true" Chusovitina skill is always going to be the back-in full-out technique, which disqualifies half the gymnasts in this video, lol. I would say my top 3 are Simone, Chusovitina and Sae.
I've seen a variant of this skill in video once, can’t find it anymore though. I think it was Chuso herself but I could be mistaken. Her legs were positioned in mid-air as if she were taking a stride. It looked amazing. Does anyone know if that skill has a special name and/or who performed it and when? Thanks in advance!
It sounds like you are thinking of a split leg double layout, which Gutsu used as her opening tumbling pass at the 1992 Olympics. At the 2002 American Cup, Chusovitina performed a split leg double layout + front tuck mount on floor exercise. While this element has not been listed in the COP, based on credited start values, it was being given the same difficulty as a regular double layout.
Yes, I think that was it. Thank you! :) It looks so cool, too bad no one performs it anymore. Same value as a regular double layout, but it gives the skill a little something extra imho.
The floors had springs starting in 1978 at the World's...nothing like today, but it made a huge difference from the 1950's floors routines on hardwood floors.
This technique called 'Chusovitina' has an H difficulty, making it very challenging. But, currently, even more difficult I and J difficulty level skills exist. Simone created a J difficulty skill a few years ago. There are many challenging skills in the world! It's amazing, isn't it?

⭕️ Melanie De Jesus Dos Santos : FRA
So sorry about that🙇🏼♂️🙇🏼♂️🙇🏼♂️🙇🏼♂️
Simone, she has the least asmount of pike down, very little to no leg seperation, fairly pointed toes and insane height
Rebeca Andrade ❤
My favorite gymnast❤️👍🏻❤️❤️

What Tuzhikova did was really more like a half in half out? 😂. I think Bontas in 91 had a better defined complete twist in the first salto.

All part of Nellie Kim's master plan of naming it the "Kim." Along with every other skill out there 😂

Jordan’s stick is iconic
Yeah! Amazing landing 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Mélanie de Jesus dos Santos competes for France, not GBR.
Omg… That was my editing mistake.😱😱😱Thank you for letting me know!!!
Glad to help! 😃
Simone is the best , Jordan is great too
They r so amazing🤩 so high and powerful‼️👍🏻‼️👍🏻
Jade Carey and Simone are best. Although, I think Jade’s from 2017 worlds is the best she’s ever done it.
They r so powerful!! And jump is so high every single time🤩🤩🤩 I’m gonna check Jade’s 2017 video👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
There are some that move in the air that I don't like. I like Biles, Rebeca, Jordan and Melanie.
Yeah! I agree! They r so beautiful😘😘😘😘 Crazy….
I think Jordan did it best.
She is amazing 👏🏻🔥❤️🔥
By far it's Jordan Style, her feet didn't move an inch...

Daiane dos Santos is the Best
She is absolutely legend✨✨😵💫😵💫
Daiane dos Santos?
She is good gymnast❤️❤️❤️ But my favorite her skill is another one👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Rebeca Andrade from Brazil was the most stable.
Touzhikova (URSS) has one of the best. And the floor had no springs

@@kevinjewell233 I mean, comparing with today, it was way less bouncier
@@ilitleoThen there are still springs.
@@tambam6744 yes
It was more difficult to do that in the past than it is now. She's amazing👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Actually, I don’t know well about that. But I can imagine 🧐🧐
ph yeah jen has the best piked full in
Please, explain me. This is the most dificult ? I find it very similar to what Simone did some years ago and they presented it as "The Most dificult".

Kytra Hunter
Her’s was great. Although, she sometimes couldn’t control the landings.
I’m gonna check her!!!!! Thanks for telling me👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
There's a very thin, Italian flag colored line, between this skill and a full in piked.
You noticed that too. I saw several piled ones here. A very difficult skill to properly perform.
LOL. The shade at the Italians.
But she is my favorite girl 👍🏻😍👍🏻
So many lost their form in the air because they didn't commit.
Yeah, that’s so difficult to do!!

🧐🤔🧐🤔
Jade Carey and Melnivoa were the best
They r so powerful isn’t they?? Awesome 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Komova did one...hers looked better than all of these.
Lol delusional
