If I bring my 1995 940 wagon how much money more oh less I need todo something like this? Engine bay in the 940 is bigger for bigger cooling. I just want to know a ballpark lol maybe I can sale one of my cars todo this to my old volvo. Thanks clean built

Tbh I wouldn’t 2JZ swap any Volvo these days, they are getting pricy. You can get a B6284T for like $900 and make over 450 WHP all day on stock internals. If you want to build the motor anyways, just get a B6294T out of a wrecked XC90 T6 for about $650-700, sleeve it, add pistons, rods and head studs…you’re good for 1400+, plus it’s all Volvo and still an inline six.
240 and 940s are soo great for swaps. The amount of room in the engine bay is crazy, they're already rear wheel drive too. No one expects the volvos!!

Yes most 2J’s these days come from an automatic car.
