Michelle Barnhart the text was, “for the billionth time no, If I tell Zoey I love her it could wreck our friendship” so I seriously doubt she would’ve interpreted it for Michael. She probably would’ve been super flattered and told him she felt similar
Talks with Josiah I know, but at the end of this episode Chase didn’t tell her the exact wording of the original message. He just told Zoey that the text said “I love you” and nothing else, so she probably would have thought Chase was saying that to Michael.

Michelle Barnhart I disagree because the whole episode made a big deal on how Zoey couldn’t be told what the message was intended for her secretly. It was directed to her and she wanted to know. Chase didn’t want to say it plus guys don’t say “I love you” to their homies. Lol that just doesn’t happen. Not that way.

I didn't or don't want to believe that Jamie-lynn Spears and her older sister Britney Spears are or were like this to Alexa Nicholas. I just can't believe this..... because I really and also and always liked Jamie-lynn Spears.... I don't want to believe this and 6 months after Jamie-Lynn's show: "Zoey 101" ended I even wrote a paper about how much I liked seeing Jamie-lynn on Zoey 101 when I was in grade 8 and getting ready to turn 14 years old and I still have that paper from December 2008! Jamie-lynn, how could treat someone who hasn't done anything to you like that!?

Honeslty, I see where Chase is going through. As males, it's scary to confess to a female about how we really feel. In our minds, we think "if I told this girl that I like her, what would she think of me? Would she think Im weird? Would she hate me forever?" Change Matthews is the best character in zoey 101 in my opinion if you notice the best episodes of the series are when Chase takes over as the lead character like in spring break up ,goodbye Zoey, The play,Chase Grandma, and Time capsule and Chases Girlfriend and the Great Vince Blake He was definitely missed in season four Thankfully he was able to be in the series finale.

My personal feelings about the way the cast treated Alexa Nikolas aside, I did really like this show and episode. That said, there's a fundamental flaw in this episode: the girls accuse Chase of stealing Zoey's techmate to cheat, but I realized not long ago that the cheat would have been had Zoey gotten the combination through the message from her techmate. A message the girls only sent because they couldn't outrun Dustin. While the techmates were gifts from Logan's dad, I don't think he intended they be used in the competition. So yeah, Zoey opening the vault first by the means of getting the combination through the message would have been cheating. Also, Chase only threw the joust at the end because he wanted to make up for accidentally cheating Zoey and the other girls. That said, it's still a powerful climax and ending, but that one thing that doesn't quite make sense could ruin it.
