Mythic Legions are great. Quite the rabbit hole you started down. Haha. The sheer amount of them. I stick to mainly the goblin figures. Great to see a channel I watch talk about them. 👍
Awesome!! I only have 4 ML’s at the moment but I absolutely love them and love all all the parts are swappable form figure to figure. Great news, Nerdy!
All I buy now is Mythic Legions. Everything else IMO is subpar. Mythic Legions get all my money now. Started March 2020 now I'm at least 140 figures deep with plenty of preorders on the way.
Mythic Legions is a unique line. No figure line I've seen in nearly 40 years of collecting inspires such rabid fanatics. Not every figure is perfect, but then no line is, but man... these tend to hit a sweet spot that not only make you happy with your current purchase, but leaves you drooling for more. In the upcoming wave you now carry, tell me that barbarian builder doesn't look amazing as is... then you scroll over to the add on pack and it fairly demands you buy at least two of the big guy. And honestly, it will make you question how you feel about articulation. Yes, on a point count or ROM test, Mythic Legions won't match up to a Legends, but when you're sitting there posing them on your desk, you'll hit these amazing looking poses that leave you wondering if Legends don't look too stiff. It's the sculpts, there's a kinetic aesthetic that Legions has mastered that few other lines can match, and thus, even a casual pose takes on a "life" that other lines can't get even with more POA.
I'd check out xesray studio gladiator line.....they look just as good....with even better articulation. They also are customizable but they aren't as user friendly as mythic legions.....they are also a bit more expensive
I'm glad you like it! I highly recommend joining the Mythic Legions Cabal on facebook - it's pretty much the main hub for the community, which consists of some of the nicest people around. Also, there's a big community of customizers, and support for customizers - I started out as a bad painter and customizer myself, and now it's like, all I do!
They are absolutely gorgeous the only downside to this toyline is if you missed the 1st release you end up waiting for them to do some rerelease coz if you will buy them on secondary market it will really hurt your budget
I have one mythic legions figure and I like the line. Like you said, they are hard to find. I purchased mine on ebay a few years ago. They have horses now that you can put a figure on to ride. The best looking horse figure I have ever seen. Enjoy the line my friend. Take care.
Then you may want to sign up to the four horseman store and receive mail updates about their lines. Only online retailers have really been the ones to sell Mythic Legions.
I've decided to dip my toe in the Mythic Legends pond due to the Valiant Knight figure, which is sold out everywhere. But I was told that the Sir Elijah has the same improved articulation, so I ordered two, and the Monkey King as well. I'll see how this turns out.
Well David try BBTS, if they are sold out soon the aethyr wave will be hitting so I'd advise to check around august. Also subscribe to the four horsemen newsletter they have in-stock sales every Friday at original prices. Love your channel BTW.
Mythic legions are the jewel of the 1/12 scale figure line. Painted to the nines, soft goods and lots of accessories and at reasonable prices especially If you catch a pre-order or in-stock sale. Don't slip people, buy one😁 also ( heat those joints)
I’m late to the game on these as well. Just started really collecting in the last few months. Mythic Legions is fast becoming my absolute favorite toy line. You can follow the storyline they created or just enjoy them how you like and customize like crazy. It’s a creative brand that’s only limited to how you want to enjoy them.
Picked up my first few Mythic Legions this week, Malleus being one of them. Seeing them online is one thing but getting them in hand...Wow. Beautiful figures!!
Welcome to the party pal! Haha. Mythic Legions is such an amazing toy line and the best collectors group I've ever been in. They also fit in with so many other lines. Great addition to a Mezco, Legends, Super7 or NECA display.
@@Nerdzoic wait till you get some horses, ogres and trolls. And wait till you start part swapping. I am not a customizer but I can easily swap these parts and make awesome new figures.
Glad you were able to get you one. Plus it’s cool that you sell them on your site now too! I’ll make sure if you ever have one I want I’ll shop your site. Thank you for the video!
Thanks Caroline Jedi-I'm so excited I finally bought one and VERY excited to add them to my website. Thank you for keeping me in mind for the next ML purchase.
Every one of that figures are absolute MAGIC. Amazing desing, articulation, paint apps... They are really good. I live outside the US and they are really expensive, I only have three but if I had to collect only one line o scale, those would be my choice. So keep buying!!!
Only have a couple of these myself. As much reuse as this lines uses, having a few helps keep them unique on the shelf. Although, a goblin squad would be fun! I too am late to this party, but there is plenty of party left to go around. These are great figures!
As an all around Toy Collector my self, Mythic Legions are one of the best Toy lines I've ever collected. I have a few figures from this line but easily my favorites for Toy photography. I would suggest avoiding Ebay for these figures unless you get a great deal. Try your luck on the Kickstarters or BBTS or now Nerdzoic 😉 congratulations on your store my Good Sir 👍
The cost of action figures is fucking bananas. And the bastards who payoff store stock employees so they can clear the pegs as soon as the store opens are just the absolute fucking worst. Those 2 things...the totally unjustified prices and the filthy peg pirates...are exactly what keep me from buying figures anymore. There's no honor in the hobby anymore. Just alot of tourists looking to make $10 on a fig flip. Pathetic. It would also be really nice if stores stopped allowing people to purchase more than 1 of the same figure. I'll stick to comics. At least I don't have to worry about scummy scalpers.
I don’t know much about toys besides Star Wars to a minuscule amount but I just enjoy watch your videos. You keep me occupied when shit may be rough and I appreciate you my friend.
Hey Daniel-Thank you for watching. It makes me happy the videos can help you escape for life's problems. That's exactly what this channel did for me. Appreciate it.
I am also new to the Mythic Legions action figures. Once I got a couple figures I have become obsessed & spent quite a lot of money to get a few others, Whew! They are NOT CHEAP in the after market. I kinda want many others to join collecting these & perhaps prices will drop thinking they will make more available..part of me also wants less others collecting these so they stay rare & more niche.
They look amazing but the characters don't really do that much for me since there's no comic or anything to know anything about them. I might pick up a few here and there if I can find them though.
Mythic Legions remind me of Dongeons & Dragons. They've been out for a bit and really haven't shaken up the industry all that much. Don't get me wrong, they're extremely cool and good quality. What's holding them back is the high prices they command, especially older figures, and they're harder to get a hold of than a Target exclusive. I'm not willing to spend the money or put in the effort to get them.
They’re actually SUPER easy to get through their preorder period for each wave that last a month. $35 ea. for average figures with lots of accessories and the quality is amazing.
Thanks for the heads up ,I was going to limit my collection of star wars , marvel legends, jurassic world, masters of the universe origins ,but after this review ,it looks like I'll be expanding to include these guys.
Welcome to the line! If you're not already hop over to the Mythic Legions Cabal on Facebook and dive in head first! They're amazing and the community is even better.
I’m definitely considering jumping on this line, the $35-$40 price point is a bit steep but how many so-so MarvelLegends have you picked up over the years? It’s definitely a line to consider is all I’m saying.
The price point is steep but I never feel obligated to get them all. So the cost works out. Plus (if this matters to you) they hold their value or increase greatly over time. No peg warmers in ML
Great point Wolf Pack. Exactly true. You know you're purchasing something of value not even the price of appreciation, but the fine detail and accessories.
I would love love love some of those Mythic Legions, but again, most of these are beyond my price range! I especially like the girls! And I could use some barbarian and monster villains. I think even the cheaper figures are around $45, which is more than I can spend on any single figure. My absolute limit for new or used figures is $40. I will be breaking that for Surter, as I will be ordering him from you. But c'mon, he's the size of my Godzilla! I will make an exception for something that size!

Ah, Mythic Legions. Kitbashers sure as hell had lotsa fun with this line!
I spend 90% of my toy budget on Mythic Legions & Custom parts. It made me quit so many toy lines because its just that good 😭🤣

Nice.! I've got a medieval Witchblade.
Good choice!
They're what McFarlane could've been, if they gave real basic articulation in the early "articulated action figure" statue era.
