I am the viewer that Tom gave the plate to. To make a long story short, I purchased an asmoke as350 that came without this plate. I have spent 6 weeks going round and round with asmoke customer service trying to get this plate issue resolved. No progress, and they will never see another dime from me. Tom was good enough to offer me this plate if he could duplicate it. He has done so and Saturday I received the plate in the mail. This man did EXACTLY what he said he would do, in the time frame he said he would. There are other particulars about this story that he may not wish me to share, but rest assured this is a good man and I hope to be able to do him a favor one day. By the way, we did not know each other before this, we live approx. 600 miles apart, but he still saw his way to be kind to a stranger. Thanks Tom.
Good job Tom. As a retired farmer/machinist my whole life. I always enjoyed figuring out ways to fix something or improve it, there is something about the satisfaction that gives when something you make works.
Great Job, Tom. I got my AS350 on clearance at Menards... have yet to unbox. I see you're selling yours now. This will be a nice travel one for me. Are there other pellets that are the same guage as ASMOKE's that won't just fall through? Thanks!
I was close to purchasing this model then I started hearing about the essential... now hearing about the poor customer service I'm just set back.. hmm.. anywhoo I'm a tinker and try mods myself I thought about that piece u just made.. what about small expanded metal so that even whole pellets would have to burn down to fall thru?... anywhaaays.. GR8 mod I look forward to ur next cook.
Asmoke is just another sketch company that buys generic models from the same Chinese fabricator as a few other brands. Cuisinart's portable pellet smoker is a good example of the same shell and innards as the asmoke as300 I had. They have basically ghosted their customers as of late, treat them as though they don't exist.

Thanks for watching! Appreciate the feedback
Used the pit boss pellets from Lowe’s in mine, and they were falling through the cracks. Didn’t need to use that metal piece.
Thanks for watching!
I wanted an Asmoke not now I won’t pay 1.00 for a terrible customer service company
Thanks for watching! Agreed
