    Hi, at the beginning of the video the bending moment compression stress should be on the top.

    Excellent.. But i think pinned beam does not have any bending moment due to lateral load. And both columns have moments at only base and not on the other side

    I have one question, i did an analysis about column with cantilever beam which the column is 3.3m and cantilever beam is 1.2m using I-beam. I used IPE 300 for both column and beam and the results showed that column failed, however when i change the column to tubular with diameter 219mmx10mm, the column did not fail. Why tubular is better than i-beam?

      tubular has equal moment of inertia about its every axis which makes it much more robust
