South Mountain Park - Phoenix Arizona

At more then 16,000 acres South Mountain Park consists of three mountain ranges, the Ma Ha Tauk, Gila and Guadalupe and is one of the largest municipally operated parks in the United States. Join me as I take a trip up the mountain. Along the way you will see some spectacular views of the city and valley below. There are 51 miles of primary trails for hiking and mountain biking. This park is a must see.

The broken glass was from the 60s and 70s, when you made it to the top, you partied and broke your beer bottles as a sort of confirmation you were there. Sounds silly now, but that was then.
