    Thanks for the review. It is so strange to see a driving video where the presenter is driving around where I live and taking my exits, lol.

      @@Allcarnews I ended up buying a 2023 with no turbo. Watching you bounce on those potholes on 287, I'm like . . . . yup. East bound worse than west I think. I'm actually worried about destroying my car on that road, I think I need to find some back roads to get to 95 and 684.

    These Turbo 3’s should have been AWD Japanese GLI’s/GTI’s in terms of comfort/sport balance, imo. Literally the whole thesis statement of those VW’s is that you can have fun, athletic, sporty dynamics AND a comfortable, luxurious interior and ride AT THE SAME TIME! I think Mazda’s too scared of being seen as “juvenile” in their quest to be “premium,” and I wish the athletic edge from the 3rd gen 3’s carried over to these 4th gens. But aftermarket companies like Corksport can help with that to a degree. And I do understand that Mazda’s a small automaker with limited resources who has to product plan carefully. On the subject of safety systems, imo the Subaru systems are too hyperactive and beep way too often, and I appreciate the more subtle approach of the Mazda systems personally.
