This video had me thinking. I decided to do some tests on myself and here’s what I figured out:
It takes my left eye .86 seconds longer to “catch up” compared to my right eye when doing a reading saccade. This makes it a tiny bit longer to focus on something, and it “duplicates” what I intake.
When doing a Hebrew saccade though, my right eye takes over and let’s me focus on an object faster compared to a reading saccade.
Thank you for this video. It made me aware of a flaw I didn’t even know about. The brain is fascinating because of how well it hides it’s own flaws by compensating.

      What’s a Hebrew sacchade

@@vicky-eg6pq Written Hebrew is actually read from right to left. I have an easier time looking from right to left (Hebrew saccade), than I do with a reading saccade.

Anybody had eye dystonia, (saccadic eye movement), (Nystagmus) after using antipsycotics? Did it go away?

I’m on the same boat as you, well... kinda. I was given mind altering drugs without my GP telling me they were mind altering drugs and now my eyes move slow. And eye speed is a great indicator of mental speed, I knew I wasn’t crazy tbh.

@haideramin7739 I stopped using seroquel and it seems the twitching cleared up. I was prescribed it to help with sleep but it didn't help much at all. Are you experiencing bad side effects my friend?
