Thank you, this was helpful. I bought one of these on clearance a long time and just dug it out of a drawer because my old keyboard is acting wacky. #1 problem/question: Where is the On/Off switch? You answered that question. #2 problem: Why is it telling me the battery life? Are the batteries not removable? Why can't I find them? Maybe they're not accessible? No, they are, it's just not intuitive. But you demonstrated how to get to them. I still don't know why it's saying what the battery life is when the batteries can be changed. But I guess I won't worry about that. #3 - I tried to pair the keyboard with the unifying receiver (which is what the old keyboard uses). "This device is not compatible." You just answered that question too.- I have to use the receiver that came in the box. As for the mouse - it looks fine, I'm not worried about it. I will now plug in the receiver and hopefully it will connect automatically and all will be well. And if not for your video I wouldn't have gotten to that point. One other thing, a tip. The old keyboard lost its tilt things a long time ago; one broke off and that was that. I removed the remaining one and put furniture slider pads on both sides of the back, stacked until I got the tilt I liked. The 470 does not tilt enough for my liking. If I can't adapt to it I will add some slider pads, and I can recommend that to anyone who thinks it's too low. And the slider pads have the added benefit of being unbreakable. Unlike the tilt things that come with these keyboards.
No the receiver only works with that MK470 keyboard and mouse. If you buy a new mouse, you will need a separate connection from your new mouse to your computer either via the second receiver or Bluetooth
No, both the MK470 and M350 comes with a receiver of their own and those are single device receivers. They cannot be programmed to work with other devices like the smart unifying receivers and bolt receivers.
Nice video! I have a question though, do the keys feel like a laptop keyboard (i.e a chiclet keyboard), or do they feel like normal average membrane keys?
Depends on what type of games. If fast response is needed, I won't recommend this keyboard and mouse. When it comes to gaming, i think the keyboard keys and mouse click responses will be too slow.
Very useful video ... As always. Love the breakdown between the different models
thank you so much, and I doing a more detail breakdown video now. Stay tunned.

welcome
If the mouse stops working, can I buy a replacement M340 mouse and if so, will it work with the current receiver ?
No the receiver only works with that MK470 keyboard and mouse. If you buy a new mouse, you will need a separate connection from your new mouse to your computer either via the second receiver or Bluetooth
Thank you for such a good and useful review.
Could you connect the mk470 keyboard to the Pebble M350 sensor?
No, both the MK470 and M350 comes with a receiver of their own and those are single device receivers. They cannot be programmed to work with other devices like the smart unifying receivers and bolt receivers.
Ty bro
Is this a good option for Mac users? I've been struggling to find a keyboard as slim and comfortable, most have thick keys

To me the MK470 feel and sound more like chiclet keys. My Logitech K780 feels more like membrane keys compared to this MK470
@@SkyPerspective I see. Thanks for answering!

I have a MK470 keyboard but lost my receiver so what do I do now?
I'm not sure. Unfortunately MK470 doesn't work without it's receiver and it cannot connect to another receiver.
Would you recommend this for gaming?

@@SkyPerspective more on Call of duty series?
Perhaps the keyboard will be alright, but the mouse will definitely be too slow for Call of Duty in my opinion.
@@SkyPerspective have you tried it for gaming especially the keyboard? Nevermind the mouse 😅
@@emmanuelcueto4861 I don't game a lot. One of my family member used this keyboard for Minecraft and it seems to perform alright.
Is it bluetooth tho (sry if u mentioned but i cant find it)
Yes can be connect via Bluetooth
Alr tysm!

Good review and good keyboard. That mouse, however, is the worst I have ever tried.
