Repair complete, new switch in place, thanks RichPin !! My wipers no longer have a mind of their own. Two notes: I couldn’t find a steering wheel puller with small enough J-hooks, so I resorted to whacking the steering wheel with a rubber mallet, it worked great. Also, the “under dash” electrical connector, on my car, was zip-tied to other wiring, so I had to remove the lower panel(just above driver’s feet) and cut that zip tie. Thanks again, with your help, this ol’ 2000 Saturn SL will hit 250K miles soon. Cheers!
i need help on a saturn 95 sl1 idk whats wrong with it i recently change it the map sensor on the manifold the one that controls the injectora because it was burning the fuse but now it doesnt want to start im getting frustrated by that problem and i dont know what to do anymore please contact me as soon as you can

Rich, I just purchased a new multifunction switch for my Gen 3 Saturn SL. The new switch does NOT include a new clockspring; should I move the old clockspring over to the new switch? Thank you, your videos have helped me a bunch.
If the old clockspring is good i see no reason not to reuse it.

Hey Richpin. Your videos on the saturn S-series has been greatly useful. I've got a 02 SL1 gen 3. The cruise control(Not working) and horn just clicks. All the fuses are good. Only thing I can think of is the clockspring or does the multifunction switch a possible cause?
If you are hearing a clicking from the horn relay then upstream from the clock spring should be ok.
If I have a 3rd gen without cruise control or coast. If I swap out the multifunction switch and steering wheel - will the cruise control and coast work?
It needs to be turned on with a tech 2 scan tool when you are done.
Could this be the potential fix for the following condition: Low beams on all the time with the car off, key removed, and multi-function in the off position. I've replaced the DRL relay, but no joy there. The only way to have the headlights off is to remove the two fuses.
I would suspect the headlight switch as the potential problem.I will look into making a video on how to test the switch.
Thanks. I haven't been able to climb under to see if there is a short in any of the headlight wires.

Looked like a bit of a pain this one, fancy having to remove the wheel and airbag to get to user switches, the designers want a kick up the jaksie lol :-)
Some of the ones you have removed have been a delight, they can get things right when they want to.
