Looks incredible mate, my wife is American and lives here with me in Wales, UK. We're going to be moving to Seattle, USA. Looking forward to shredding this and meet up with you mate. God bless you.
Love this place! I was at Duthie on September 7th and was riding with this boy, I don’t remember his name but he said he was riding with you that day, I think I saw you but didn’t realize it was you lol
Sandy was awesome! Yeah two turntables and a microwave, johnny royale, and tnt were the runs I did. Highly recommend if you're comfortable with jumping
@@LainVanOgle bro lets link up for a session someday I can keep up but maybe not on the jump lines. Be a cool shoot me and you got the same trails we ride
It looks dope yeah a friend of mine might think about coming here cuz we live in issaquah so it is not a terrible drive to get their. Especially the good content you are putting up of it 👍
@@loamymtb Put it on the list! And tbh I'm not even sure haha I didn't change a thing from when I bought this bike used. They are wide but not overly wide if you know what I mean... lol. More comfort and less sketch.
Looked a lot cleaner from when I was there. Must have seen more than 100 needles on the ground across all those trails. Wanted to go back there, but that experience ruined it for me.
Glad to see it’s cleaned up. I used to ride there back in high school and I remember it being amazing, but I visited last summer or maybe the one before and it was overrun with homeless people camping on the course and garbage was strewn everywhere. Nothing was maintained or rideable. Glad to see it looking alright again
Its coming around! Really impressed with the work they have done here and believe with some decent exposure and funding this place is going to be amazing again!
The colonnade fell on hard times a few years after opening. One of the big reasons was Duthie Hill opened up a pretty short drive from Seattle, and it has a lot more options for riding there. Personally I think they also made the Colonnade to advanced and high risk for most of the features. if you're a beginner or even intermediate rider there isn't that much for you to ride there. Glad that it's getting spruced up a bit, but it's hard to get the numbers of riders they need there to keep it in good shape and clean when it's mostly catering to expert riders.
A lot of volunteers spent hundreds of hours and companies sponsored a lot on money building that and it looks like the homeless have done their damage. I’ve got the same bike
I haven't been in years. Was gonna head out to Duthie today but it's supposed to rain so I rerouted to Colonnade and... It doesn't look nearly as nice as the TH-cam videos from a year or two might have you think. A good amount of features are broken and roped off. The dirt doesn't seem to really be maintained all that much, a good amount of overgrowth on some lines. I spent like 45 minutes here and I think that's enough. Wouldn't want to come back unless it was raining and I really wanted to ride. The homeless of course have done quite a number on this place. I would just have a really hard time spending half a day here. Really wish I got to ride this place when it was properly maintained because it is an excellent use of the space. You can tell it's now just a shell of it's former glory though sadly.
Nice watch - A small group of people including me are rebuilding the place so the jump lines right now are being transformed at the moment.
Awesome! The jumps there are a great time
Y’all still working on it/need hands?
If you're still interested, I'll help. I still ride it weekly. I want to rebuild it.

Awesome! Did you happen to hit those drops at the back or are the landings still destroyed? I want to check this place out again after the new work!
Last time I was there it was all good!
Do you pump a lot or even at all when doing a decent-sized jump?
I try to pump as much as possible! It all just goes hand in hand with getting set up correctly for a big jump
What do you guys think of this place?!
That's an awesome spot man, I'll have to drive over and check it out sometime. What width are you running your handlebars at?

I wish I could ride here😢
Maybe one day!
What full face is that
bell full 9
Cool my friend has one and he likes it
I wish the big line wasn’t such poop now adays. when I rode the big line like 7-8 years ago, it was butter
Hard to maintain this place all the time unfortunately
Hi
Hey Colby!
A lot of volunteers spent hundreds of hours and companies sponsored a lot on money building that and it looks like the homeless have done their damage.

Can't wait for all the homeless to move in!
Nothing says Seattle like ridding over homeless tents and trash. Could be such a unique spot if cleaned
It’s getting a massive makeover very soon!
