Remy Pieterse Me too, I love this song and I wish it would be the song for every FIFA World Cup to come because no other song ever displayed this international, peace loving and national pride ever. Plus, I love K'naan because he is still a Canadian and I hope he still feels that way.
Yeah this is the second World Cup I've been to in my lifetime. I went in 2006 and in 2010, and I think it was the fans, they were so friendly, didn't matter who you supported in that one competition every fan was a friend and the football was amazing to watch. I also think the African nations doing so well meant the tournament was given an extra lift where as in Brazil, the team was fairly underwhelming and scraped through the groups and knockout rounds.
Yeah man ! Nothing compares to the World Cup, you have your whole country on your shoulders, hopefully us can play as good as we did in 2014

I‘m german and i obviously enjoyed the 2014 World Cup but for me the 2010 World cup was by far the best one in the last decades. This soundtrack, the public viewings, watching the games with Friends and families, the panini album, the games, the players just everything was perfect. Going to school the next day without listening to the teacher just speaking about the World Cup.❤️
But you guys did so well in 2010, Germany humiliated Argentina, Australia & England. I'm portuguese, so when we got eliminated i was cheering for Germany so hard, i really liked the team with Ozil at his prime, Podolski, Klose and other beasts.

I am 16 years old, so I lived three world cups on my life:
2010: The best cup in the world and the one that brings me the most memories.
2014: I travelled to Brazil and I was in a cup match.
2018: My country participated in the tournament.
For now, all the World Cups that I lived in my life have been good at something :)
