They were on window cleaning warehouse site. Dont know if they still are, depends how popular they were. You can also get Ronin cutters from amazon as they are similar style
Use a bit of soap on the rubber and inside the channel to get it to slide into the channel easier. Hold the rubber with a cloth and pull it through the channel.
I notice you leave your rubber square on the end, I prefer that too, is it because they wear too fast when they are angled? That's the issue I had with angled rubber.
The wear is just the same for me. Not cutting the angles just saves a bit of time and messing around. Just chop, chop and boom done. Time is money as you know and I don't wanna have up cut and angle 6 different squeegees that I keep around with me haha. I've tested not cutting the angles for over a year and no problems at all. 😁💪🏻
Concerning end angle I still cut an angle, more blade is left. This makes tip flex much less while clearing the frames. The tool I use is a sharp knife cut on a wood surface.
Hi Trad-Man, your videos just keep getting so good and professional. I was wondering if I don't need to cut an angle at each end of the rubber or is it ok just to leave it at the original angle you had it after bringing it thru? Also,I have been still using the paper clip trick to snug up the rubber in the channel but after seeing how easy you made it look with a dab of soap and green clip, I am definitely going to try that way. You always tech me something and am grateful to you for taking time from family to help so many of us students soak up your knowledge. Thank you buddy!
Hey Matt! Honestly you are the nicest person I've ever had on my channel, if we ever cross paths I'll buy you a beer 🍻 Yeah with the rubber you can leave it square at the ends, saves some time and faffing around 👍🏻 I'm honestly happy to help folks if I can and if anyone has something to share I'm all for learning to! Hope your keeping well my friend

@@TradMan I will look into them thank you. I have the new 3.0 liquidator channel and no matter what rubber I try in it with the end clips I keep it straight sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't I've had all 3 versions of this any other insight?? It seems to work on some glass but not others very frustrating. I've been window cleaning for 30 years now yes I know once you said this is a new tool but I've been using the tool often on trying to get it work properly for years.
Was just literally looking at these yesterday but thought is it worth it? But I’m sold now will definitely be adding one of these to my next order. Thanks Trad Man👍
Mmm, from time to time I wonder whether or not I must up my gear. Using a 35cm and 55cm squeegee and matching applicators. What is recommended? A smaller to add and one of 45cm? I have too much fun cleaning windows. Also, how to prevent those ugly rainbow marks? I run into it sometimes and frustrates me a lot. I want to give a clean clean every time. Yeah, am perfectionist with it I know.
Tool wise it's good to have a few sizes from larger to smaller. Personally I carry 4 sizes on my hip from 16 inch down to 6 inch. To stop getting streaks you need to cut the rubber properly like in the video and the rubber has to be sitting in the channel nice and straight, no ripples along the rubber. Also check the ends of the rubber for any signs of wear, if it looks like it has a tiny cut in the ends or any bit missing then pop in a new bit of rubber 😊👍🏻
@@TradMan It are new rubbers and edges still sharp. I am trying to slower my speed to make sure the water goes down better. Urgh, sometimes I feel like I'm an amateur.
Fantastic information. All hail the liquidator 2 .0 Moerman , superb channel. It's just got even better with this handy tool thanks Peter. I was buying the pre-cut rubbers which are perfect but I always like to do things myself so this tool is a great addition thank you once again.
Really good video. Watch All your videos and use moerman All the time. Made me Want to buy both the cutter and the box. Found Even more things in the store link. But the store dont ship to denmark, 😪 So have to wait until some shop in My country will begin to sell the parts....
Thanks mate, The cutter and the boxes for keeping the rubber in, Also found the moerman knife in the shop. But I am in denmark. And cant find Any of these here.
@@kimbolhj8256 when you say moerman knife do you mean razor as in a blade to take paint off windows? I'll get you a link for better cutters which came out recently
Love those Razorbill cutters. Perfect cut every time. Had some rubber cutters before but the were too bulky to carry around. These are light and fit in the front pocket of my Moerman pouch. Wouldn't use anything else now!
You use Excelerator 2.0 Handle And Moerman Liquidator Channel?
I'm relatively new to this channel and I'm impressed. I'll try to watch all the videos. Thank you very much.
😁👍🏻
Can you do a video on the unger ninja rubber please
Hello. There is unger soft, unger hard and unger green rubber. There is no ninja rubber 😉

A fine way to cut blades. I like to use a replaceable blade hunting knife, Outdoor Edge 3.5, on a wood base. A good EDC work knife too.

Will regular household scissors work just as good? It seems that leaves a weird slight edge to it
Yeah I don't like scissors for rubber, don't seem to get a perfect straight cut.
@@TradMan thanks pete
I now use wolf cutters, similar to the one in this video but better made

thanks so much mate! always nice watching your videos! the cutters great tools
