- Thursday 20th June saw three of the Dartmouth Steam Railway's operational fleet of steam locomotives in operation, with the railway operating a two train service between Paignton and Kingswear. BR Standard 4MT No. 75014 'Braveheart' would run alongside GWR Manor No. 7827 'Lydham Manor' and GWR 5205 2-8-0T No. 5239 'Goliath' - the latter two would swap during the day, with 7827 being replaced by 5239 during the early afternoon.
7827 returned to traffic earlier this year following a major overhaul, and 75014 has recently returned to Devon, following a loan spell on the Churnet Valley Railway, where it appeared at the line's 'Spring Steam Gala'.
All scenes were captured on Thursday 20th June 2024.

Thank you!
Great video, nowhere better to be than here when the sun is out and what a line up! Loved that first shot of 7827 over Goodrington, assuming first train with all that steam before the temperatures rose... beautiful!
Thank you for your comments, glad you enjoyed the video. Yes, that first scene was the first train of the day, filmed just after 10am. Agreed, it is a beautiful line!
