This is by far, the best performance I've seen from dallas. The call and response blues licks introduced at the end of the song by him are just so melodic. Really really good expression and such a world class musician.
i respect him so much for doing all those show's over n over..! in front small croud too prob like the feelings of being close of the croud. good music!
Jesus holy fucking christ. I ve seen plenty proof of him being a god in live recordings but this level of jaw dropping performance is still surprising me
what chords is he using here? I prefer the live version to the album, and really want to learn it, I know the first one but can't get the fingering of the second one Lao
Dallas, or Dallas' manager, or someone who knows...how can I get a copy of the performance from SXSW that used to be up here on youtube. Please contact me...I will pay or write a song or stop yelling at my cat when he doesn't stop freaking meowing...please...you sound amazing on that performance and I love how you go into Sade...well I just love everything about your music brother.

i want this audios, can you contact me in private?
@CropDuster33 i dont think the guys from AOF would be down to play this type of music, plus it'd be the same band... they would probably go with the same name, basically we wouldn't have city and colour, just more songs like burial by AOF
Don't get why everyone is hating on that Haydz guy, Dan's lead playing in general is pretty weak. Don't get me wrong Daniel Romano has a pretty sick country voice and his the finger picking stuff he plays is pretty cool on his own songs. I went to see these guys twice last year, once where Dan was absent due to illness and the other when he was present. I have to say that the gig without him sounded far better and I was shocked at how underrated Dallas Green is as a guitar player.
There's no telling how many times I've watched this video. I wish they done the album version like this.
Dude I'm so hip!! They're both good but this kills it so hard
2022 Still get goosebumps with this.

The whole time he was changing the effects, and volume by himself while playing; yet he still puts out an amazing show
he is one of the most talented people on this earth
Words can't even describe this performance and every single other he's performed. What a guy!
I got to meet them all after the session! Dreams came true

I've never heard anyone mention Helicon Blue before! A true fan like myself bro 👍

When he smiles to himself at 0:22 when he realises he got the lyrics wrong...
sinceramente nome gusta cuando canta con distintos instrumentos creo que lo suyo es cantar acustico
creo que es mas tu gusto, por que de ambas maneras suena espectacular para mi, aunque lo conocí en un acustico!:)
funnayyyyy
3:42 Sneakin' a little Patti Smith in there, eh Dallas?
old version of this song is much much better

Did anybody else noticed that Dallas is changing guitars in this concert more often than Eric Clapton does?:)))
Jimi Hendrix that’s because every song is tuned differently! Which is awesome haha
How do you know what kind of love I have????😎😋
Yoyo he is awsome
Dallas Green dressed like a hipster before it was cool.
If you already like the music, you shouldn't be giving two fucks about their appearance...period.
i wish there was a high five button also
I happen to agree. They don't sound tight at all. Dallas needs to whip them into shape, haha.
Hahahaaaa))))))
@Kasrith damn you! :P
Daniel Ramano over any country singer in the states.
@Haskanawa72 huh? why for you no learn english for writing on youtube.
Camera fest
As much as I love dallas and this song, he could get a better band.. guitarist is a little sucky, I could do a better job without a doubt
