I have things to say! This was so beautiful!! I love how hurt Athena looked when Odysseus says "I'll remind you, I saw you as a friend." Such beautiful acting there! And then at the end how hurt both of them looked, Athena really did have hope in him and maybe saw a friend in him like he did her. I love how she becomes more aggressive throughout, making her requirements known to Odysseus. This is such a favourite and I still rewatch the old one all the time! I also love how she disguises herself, then when she reveals herself how happy Odysseus is! Watch as he says "Goddess and Man, Bestest of Friends" that really warm my heart! Athena looks unsure as she says "We'll see how that ends." As though she foreshadows things won't end well with the two!
