Happy New Years Gord! Thanks so much for the comment :) I don't know how you find the time with your channel exploding but it certainly speaks volumes about your character. Good for you, and I never miss an episode. You know I'm going to say I love your new tractor but I'm a bit bias....finally I don't have to feel bad for you in that open station and, I know you'll love it equally in the summer too. That new blower is a monster! Cheers
That Kubota 850 did a super-fine job moving the snow, especially in 2WD. Don't ya love it when you have equipment that delivers the performance right when you need it? Full-watch. Sure was nice to have a calm day to get snow removal done. Snow blower and tractor were right on cue. Happy New years. 👍🏽🙂
Happy New Year bud! Now you have the best of both worlds with that plow. She zips right along the street. Hope the country pays you for doing their job lol, take care, Chris
Very helpful for me. Thanks. Just getting up-to-speed on the various machines and accessories. Started looking at the 1100C with Boss plow, however I am going to do more fun than work so the 850 is probably the better crossover model. Just getting a quote on your configuration with some roof LED add ons.
Nice setup you have Andrew! I've tried my homemade snowplow on my Defender. That is different from a tractor. It's great for long stretches. But not so great for getting close to garage doors or very quick reverse and forward maneuvers... I prefer an HST for that over a CVT transmission. I just don't know how Kubota does in that domain, but Canam is not so great for inching. The group of mailboxes makes me smile each time! Thanks!
Thanks Joe and you're exactly right! These machines are jerky, especially when compared to a HST tractor. Overall I'm super happy with the performance and can't believe how much snow it will push. Huge difference from what my 4 wheeler would move. If only they made a HST model that could go faster.. take care.
Looking to get one here soon when my dealer ever gets them in, they are saying in 4 to 6 weeks, and haven’t decided which color yet, but I do like the camo a lot 😍
Why did you add a SxS with plow when you already have an awesome setup with the tractor and blower, was the tractor with blower not working for you under certain circumstances?
Hi Chris and Happy New year. I still have the tractor and it will still be the main machine for snow on the long laneway. I bought this because I also plow a large rink and the bank is too steep to get the tractor down. I also wanted something a little more capable for getting wood and towing, not to mention the heated cab is pretty comfy. Thanks for watching :)
@@mikesabella8281 Gooday Mike, I bought the Kubota blinker kit and had the dealership install them upon purchase. They do work great and handy to have. Thanks for watching.
how do you like that cab in the summer with no a/c I want to get a setup like you have but I don't understand why kubota doesn't have a/c in the sidekick cabs
OK thanks for the reply because I am looking at getting a similar setup to what you have. I don't really want the diesel rtv just wish the gas model had ac
Morning Bota. Love the new equipment. Happy New Years!

Happy New Year Chris. Yes I'm spoiled and very happy with both machines. Thanks for stopping by :)
Hey bota driver. I have the same tractor and snow blower and just bought a new sidekick. Guess I'm a bota driver too lol.

Hi Mike. Yes both very capable work horses. If you are leaning more towards play I think the 850 would serve you well. Cheers

I've forgotten to ask, how many pounds is your blade?

@@FromSteelToWood Good question Joe and I'm not exactly sure. It's pretty heavy duty. I'll try and weigh it for you.

Is the cab fairly quiet inside ?

what light kit for the blinkers??
and how did you get it to work with the dashboard screen

Hi Clayton. I don’t think it’s a problem. The windows roll down on the side fairly low. Also the doors remove easily if you need extra ventilation

Do you have the heater and does it work well?
Hi Joe. Yes I have the factory heater and it does work well. There are 4 vents plus two for the front window.
Gotta Get-Me one of those or something similar ';-) Thanks
Thanks for the comment :)
