One of the best lines of the scene: Elizabeth: "Will Turner, do you take me to be your wife? Till death do us part - in sickness and health (health being less likely)?" *gruntstab*
Will : "Veux-tu m'épouser ?"
o! the beginning bit of this song is soo tense on the film, it sends shivers down my spine each time!!! where u see Will alive, and the 2 ships slowly come towards Becketts ship, then BOOM BOOM BOOM!! and he slowly walks down them stairs, with everything blowing up around him! bits like this make a film brilliant!
Believe it or not, my favorite scene in the whole movie is when the Dutchman under the command of Captain Turner surfaces at 1:12 almost purely because of the music. It's the same tune as Davy Jones' theme from Dead Man's Chest, just with a more epic, heroic feel.
imo the best scene of all the films goes to this song...i love the way they get married, i was so happy...and then will gets stabbed and i was crying my eyes out :'( lol thisi s AMAZING!!!
OK, My favorite spots are: *1:13 and 2:12 (the Dutchman Theme at its best) *2:56-4:55 (Just too cool for words) *5:55-6:16 (Hoist the Colors at its VERY BEST) *6:47-9:00 (Just so cleverly scored, it fits the acting unbelievably well!!) *8:14 (ARPEGGIO) Hans Zimmer is amazing...
@Verothai: A. she said "Fire all" instead of "Fire", B. While it is slightly exaggerated, the officers aboard the Endeavor were not able to fire without Becket's order. Since Becket was unable to command, the only options were to return fire and risk execution upon return to England, or flee.
I laugh every time they're on the tiny island and they come up to Davy Jones in his bucket and he does this random "seductive" eyebrow raise. I can never get over it.
Who else can propose just as awsome as Will as he is fighting with Elizibeth. Barbosa: Just kiss already!! I think it's hilarious how he is trying to say you may kiss the bride but everyone is intrupting him by coming up tohim and starts fighting him then thats when he yells that. This movie I LOVE and nothing is better than it. I hate how Elizibeth's and Will's story is done now. That's what made the movies even more epic
0:00 and 1:36 "I see dead people in boats" 0:33 and 4:06 "Singapore" 1:12 and 2:12 "Davy Jones" 1:56 and 6:16 "Bootstrap's bootstraps" by Klaus Badelt (also in "I've got my eye on you") 2:43 to 2:55 "Mermaids" (POTC 4) 5:02 / 7:37 / 8:44 "Jack Sparrow" 5:55 "Hoist the Colours" 6:09 "What shall we die for" 6:27 to 6:44 "At wit's end" 6:49 to 7:15 and 7:52 to 8:32 "Up is down" 7:19 and 8:33 "The Black Pearl" by Badelt (also appears in "Wheel of fortune") 8:59 "One day" 9:21 to 9:47 "Wheel of fortune" 9:53 "Skull and crossbones" by Badelt
I wonder if he was specifically comissioned to write something in the style of Gladiator (which it ressembles quite closely). Anyway, I love both OSTs, and Hans Zimmer's solemn & heroic music in general.
@LaughGenerator thank you so much for this lovely and great comment! and thanks for understanding me and giving your opinion, wich now makes me see this issue differently =D I send hugs and kisses!!! =)
@XxNanami15xX ehm this soundtrack is after that lol when the armada is coming against the black pearl then the flying dutchman is coming out of the sea again and its renewed well at least he beginning
@jalex90, i think it's really funny how everyone's all like "This isn't just music! blah blah!" because technically, you did just put the music. lol Don't worry so much about people misunderstanding, cause even if this is more than just music, most of us understand that you did not mean it that way! ;D
@Skystormclan In the second movie, the Kraken is chasing them the whole time and is the big bad guy, then they just kill it off before the events of the third movie. People double crossing each other the whole time in the third movie just for the sake of it and it ends up everything works out in the end? Yeah right.
dont forget what ships the pearl and the dutchman are! both are legendary ships the endeavour is "only" a very huge battle ship :P in real life the endeavour was after one attack only a bit damaged not completly destroyed...
it is when the black pearl is about to attack the endeavour and twhen davys theme comes out thats when the dutchman comes out of the water and the soft dramatic music is when beckett dies! m going to make a piano version of it! (1-4:55)
One of the best lines of the scene:
Elizabeth: "Will Turner, do you take me to be your wife? Till death do us part - in sickness and health (health being less likely)?" *gruntstab*
This is probably the most epic song on the whole entie soundtrack. Its got like all of their themes put together into one!
05:50 - when jack finally 1v1 jones atop of the ship.. epic scene
Brilliant. In the theatres during the battle scene, it was almost like you were actually there. And the music was a great help in that feeling.
You can never get too much of pirates.. This is amazing : ) I'm listening to this while writing a novel.. a pirate-ish novel
The Death Of Lord Cutler Beckett Is Just INCREDIBLE ! :D
This soundtrack sounds so EPIC. If only my life had soundtracks to go with it... it would make it a lot more exciting.
5:37 - 5:52 ♥
Who else loves to listen to movie score music as epic as this and fantasize your own epic movie/story to go with it?
Will : "Veux-tu m'épouser ?"
Elizabeth : "Je ne pense pas que ce soit le bon moment !"
Will : "il n'y en aura peut être plus .. Que choisis-tu ?"
Elizabeth : "Barbossa !"
.... x)
i watched all three movies in the same night

haha, well good job from getting all that from memory. I have to admit, Will's face when Elizabeth goes, "Barbossa!" is priceless.

I don't think now is the best time to listen to Coldplay...but it IS the right time to listen to this great music...I need pumping up! :D
2:55 - 4.50 gives me goose bumps and a tear - best of Mozart/Beethoven in a little less than 2 mins - fucking awesome!
omg i was looking for someone who thought same haha THIS PART IS MASTERPIECE
ive watched this movie so many times that i can like watch this part of the movie play out in my head while the music is playing haha
omg, i love how barbossa fights, talks walks and everything! hes like a sober jack!
even making your homework is epic while listening this
OMG :D I listen to this track for motivation all the time. When I do stuff for Uni, clean my appartment.. It motivates so much
5:52 -Can't deal with it
making homework feels incredibly epic with this music
imo the best scene of all the films goes to this song...i love the way they get married, i was so happy...and then will gets stabbed and i was crying my eyes out :'(

Wow this music is so epic, it blew one of my headphone speakers
oh my god...this music makes my heart catch in my throat
Epic music all around me hearties!!!
No, it's from the maelstrom battle - "I don't think now is the best time" was what Elizabeth said to Will when he asked her to marry him.
ik krijg echt zo'n gevoel dat ik er middenin leef. dit is de allerbeste film die ik ooit gezien heb.
lol love it when jack swoops down infront of davy jones and he pulls out a broken sword and is just like ".....crap"
@Verothai: A. she said "Fire all" instead of "Fire", B. While it is slightly exaggerated, the officers aboard the Endeavor were not able to fire without Becket's order. Since Becket was unable to command, the only options were to return fire and risk execution upon return to England, or flee.

There you are sadly mistaken, but you can certainly buy this. If it's a major album that's been released in America, they'll have it though.

I listened to this when I worked out. When I was done, I had a 6 pack.
Beckett's death was something else.
I cant wait for Pirates of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

1:12 greatest moment of ultimate epicness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wonder if he was specifically comissioned to write something in the style of Gladiator (which it ressembles quite closely). Anyway, I love both OSTs, and Hans Zimmer's solemn & heroic music in general.

Barbosa: You may now kiss the *sword fighting*You may kiss *more sword fighting* JUST KISS!!

12 people were shot overboard by the Black Pearl's cannons and died along with Davy Jones on the Flying Dutchman onto Calypso's maelstrom.
astonish track !!
This is nice!! =D
@Skystormclan In the second movie, the Kraken is chasing them the whole time and is the big bad guy, then they just kill it off before the events of the third movie. People double crossing each other the whole time in the third movie just for the sake of it and it ends up everything works out in the end? Yeah right.
@Clanknar hahaha yeah, that's a great scene xD
5:37 is possible the most epic part of any soundtrack ever.
dont forget what ships the pearl and the dutchman are!
