Lolita lempicka sweet gets incredibly mixed reviews. I'm really curious though. It sounds good!

It's funny really - I've heard TH-camrs who love Cloud saying Sweet is too sweet for them, but cloud smells like actual granulated sugar on me! Sweet has a sour kick that stops it being too sickly.

Omg beloved Far Away. It has been my signature scent in my early 20s and I still wear it often. I have so many olfactive memories with this perfume. Reminds me of my teacher training college days and my first job as a teacher of English as a second language in the private language school.
You said your husband loved it. Mine loves it too and I must say ,men, in general, absolutely looove this fragrance. If you wanna pacify a man, wear Far Away- it is like a secret weapon haha. :)

I think it has all the hallmarks of appealing to men.... it's hyper feminine, floral but not screechy, sweet and creamy but not cloying and grown up but not threatening. Far Away Rebel smells a bit more girly but the OG is a bit more sensual I think. It's like the approachable lady of perfumes, whereas black orchid is a strict lasy in a pencil skirt with blunt fringe!

@@skinscentsforfusspots Completely agree with you. Not fan of Black Orchid. I tried to like it and it doesnt appeal to me.
In terms of Far Away flankers, they re hit or miss. I do like Rebel or Glamour but the latest is the best- Splendoria. Absolutely sexy but smells better in warmer weather.

If I had to choose perfume from Avon from the 90ies it would be Soft Musk. Lovely scent memories. Far Away is definitely something I recognise whenever I come across somebody wearing it.

I just found it so cosy and comforting! I've tied a couple of soft musks but I'm yet to find one that works for me.
