  • Not a vlog, no intrusive faces or talking, pure Japan only.
As some people told me Nakano Broadway changed a lot preparing for Olympics, so they asked to walk there again. So I walked again from the station to the Broadway and all its floors. Then I walked a bit around in restaurant area.

    Filmed in UltraHD 4K 60p with Lumix GH5 camera, 8-18 f2.8-4 lens, Beholder EC1 stabilizer and Audio-Technica AT9946CM mic.
Feel free to correct my English or suggest a video to film.

I would love to get high on drugs and blow money in that place. Do they have cocaine in Japan? The Yakuza must have something. Where do you meet these people?

    • @jhowardsupporter

Hey seriously they got drugs in Japan? Cos getting drunk is not fun, you can not walk properly, the world is just spinning around. CAN NOT ENJOY SHOPPING! Drugs is much better, can go into all the shops and enjoy all the toys and spend lots of money! Take some cocaine, you'll be very happy, PUT YOUR MIND AT EASE! Where is the Yakuza?

I haven't been to Japan in over 10 years now, but there isn't a day that passes that I don't think about it. Your simple tours and walks through these places really do take me back to those days I've been longing to relive again. For me, and I'm sure other people that want to visit/return, these videos are much more personal and intimate since it's "pure Japan only". I appreciate your content so much more than anyone else I watch TH-cam. I always have something of yours playing in the background when I'm editing or writing - your channel has been a God send!! (:

At the end of March, Japan's confirmed case was 1387, which is outstandingly low despite its location near to China. I think this is what the original commenter meant. However, Japan tested 2.5k ppl compared to Korea testing 36.5k. Korea did vigorous testing, testing over 10k per day, but Japan has limited testing to about 1.2k only. It looked like Japan was excellent at controlling the test, it only relied on social distancing and washing hands. However, due to not testing ppl vigorously at the start of the pandemic, the Japanese lowered their alert towards Covid-19 due to the low counting and the social distancing failed. Now, Japan has announced an emergency state from 08/04 to 06/05, limiting the use of public places for 7 major cities. This suggests that Japan is trying to follow suggestions from Korea, which now only have 10+ confirmed cases per day. This shows that transparency and vigorous testing are the keys to controlling the pandemic.

Also I am from the US and well we are suppose to be indoors only if you NEED anything like groceries well essential stuff, but in NYC people are well not practicing social distancing and i saw a video that mostly everyone are going to this one park/school to hangout and yeah not good thr the thing is they are #1 with 14,000 cases in the country Cali and washington state follows behind. It is nuts how people in NYC is not even thinking about others and others health but not surprised. They are ignoring everything that has been told for them to do. But i hope this will pass soon for everyone.

    • @randomnickify
      @randomnickify 4 ปีที่แล้ว +13

You can cover up number of sick people but you can not cover up number of deaths. Japan got the virus before the Italy and they do have older society than Italy so they should be swimming in dead bodies by now... but they don't, meaning Japan is doing something right to stop the virus, maybe because they are just clean society, maybe because wearing a mask during flu season is norm there, maybe because working in gloves is norm, the fact is they live normally and they are not dying by the thousands like in other places.

Dana Rhodes - It's a shame the Olympics were postponed, but it's for the best, especially for the safety of the Olympians. Just one person could bring it over, without knowing they've got it, and boom, could infect hundreds. I fear the West is a big "me culture" 'Won't affect me, so why should i care' kind of thing. I’ve watched this several times.
Every time I see that amazing elderly lady crossing in front of you I ALWAYS think two things-
1: “STOP and talk to her! OMGosh she probably has AMAZING stories!” Lol-
2: that lady MUST be thinking -
    “Where did my Japan go?”
Her frame of reference must be so amazing from where she’s been in life’s journey so far- what she’s seen!
If you would have gone back in time (at least 70 years????) and transported her as a little girl -back to the exact spot she was walking in this clip-
She probably pass out from shock and fear- you couldn’t even imaging the things we have now and take for granted- like indoor recorded music-
It’s a an amazing 4~5 seconds of recording to me.

It's incredible how the Japanese seem to build with quality of life, health and relaxation in mind. Here where I live in N.J. USA it more about growth for profit and dam quality of life.

You can spend the entire day in Mandarake's departments and the various independent stores, only popping downstairs for food. Tip is to set a hard spending limit and focus on the series and type of toys you want. Also some of these stores offer tax rebates, so bring your passport along.
