Gfriend is the only group with no rap in their songs. That's why it feels so classic and they're also keeping it instrumental rather than electronic.
Edit: after reading the replies, I'm glad to know that there are also other groups who have no raps in their songs. It's such a shame that they are underrated, I hope they get recognize more. Only gfriend is the top group (3G) who doesn't follow the usual kpop song formula, especially in this era of electronics and rap.

“Crossroads” takes me back to when “Rough” was released and how obsessed i was with GFRIEND they were already one of my fav groups before “Rough” but that made them my ultimate fav gg. This song is amazing and has reminded me why i fell in love with them in the first place. And Labyrinth is just phenomenal and such an amazing concept for them.

Out of all the KPop groups nowadays, I’ve always been so impressed with this group’s performance.
Their choreographies have always been solid, much more difficult, iconic, and so under appreciated in my opinion.
Their vocals have only gotten stronger and more clear over time, always proving to the haters that they have beautiful talents.
I might not be part of the fandom, but I truly appreciate this group. I hope for their success.

Of course you are not, but everyone has their preferences. Crossroads is more faithful to the latest style that they have been presenting on their tittle tracks (except for summer comebacks, that tend to be different). Now I wonder, why to chose?, they are presenting both songs, and both are awesome. I really like their very distinct style and that in fact their EPs and albums contain great songs, with more than one style. Heck, there are even tittle tracks that I don't like of Gfriend, but love other songs from those EP/album.
I really like that GFriend production doesn't seem focused on just release a "trendy" tittle tracks, but in making good music.

This is a great comeback by GFRIEND. They are one of my favorite groups. Crossroads is a good song. It's not one of their strongest title tracks, but I hope it grows on me. It has great choreography. I like how it reflects the title and theme of the song. 😍
