- Visiting Puerto Vallarta, Mexico? Here's what you can expect to see outside the resort on your next vacation! Not to say we don't love a good resort, because we do! But since we are traveling on a budget, we decided to skip the resort this time around and experience Zona Romantica by staying downtown instead of a Mexican resort.
It's safe to say, we LOVE Mexico and Puerto Vallarta is the perfect place for people looking to visit Mexico for the first time! This definitely will NOT be the last time you see us here.

We went to Ensenada in May of 22, similar types of experiences. Always felt safe, folks were amazingly friendly, especially when they found I speak spanish. Your joy and happiness in your videos makes watching them like eating ice cream, a joy. Thanks for doing this and sharing

We stayed at the Marriott which is where they released the turtles. A great place but we'd like to try Airbnb in PV sometime. Great video!

Our family can totally relate to not staying at a resort. We like to explore and at a resort you feel somehow obligated to hang out there. We are going to be in pv in 4 weeks and are stay at an airbnb. Btw you didn't mention the la palapa dinner cost? We diffinately want to eat there.
For sure! I agree that it can be too cozy to stay at the resort. You’re going to have a great time! I don’t remember exactly what we spent at la palapa but it was the most expensive meal we ate while in PV, very similar to American prices but the portions were kind of small for the price. I think we spent about $70 USD for the two of us
