    This is an amazing video! I came across it today, and I watched the whole video intently and with great anticipation! I subscribed to your channel right away! I noticed that it has been quite some time since you have posted a video. Ruthie B. Howard 9-6-2-2021 Cerulean, Kentucky, USA

    I was going to ask: did u get many twists on that 5th jump... but the text anticipated me. :°D

    I'm considering to take my AFF too next year. Looks like a lot of fun when I watch your videos. :D Oh and in some AFF levels you rotate a lot, why? How do you manage to get out of that rotation?

      Oh it reeally is lots of fun, indescribable, incredible, life changing experience, I highly recommend it! But do prepare for the addiction to the sports from that moment on!;) :P
      Haha yeah I had a hard time figuring out how not to spin lol! It happens when your body (mostly your arms or legs, possibly your torso) are asymmetrical, or when your muscles are too tensed up trying to fight the wind, so for me paying some attention to symmetric legs and just relaxing did the trick.
      And as soon as I got that proper body position once, it suddenly felt easy and natural and from that moment on I could just do it without even thinking about it(:

      @@celinesenden1567 Awesome! I guess it's hard to think about a symmetric body position when you jump out of a damn airplane. :D Anyway, addiction might really be the worst part while skydiving...

      @@Ihaveaboyfriend I'm about to book my introduction course (ground school + AFF 1) for next month and then decide if I want to keep doing the whole AFF.

    I actually am curious but do you know many jumps you have done currently.

    • @celinesenden1567
      @celinesenden1567  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah, of course I know, we have to keep track of every jump we make in a logbook ;)
      I am currently on 162 jumps, have not been able to jump as much as I wanted to because of lockdowns tho..
      Currently I am very much hoping on jumping lots upcoming season, but being in lockdown still does not help greatly :/

      @@celinesenden1567 yeah I know how you feel. I have other personal reasons why I cant go and learn to jump on my own at the moment but I am hoping that will change in a year or 2 :)

    Parabéns Celine, muito lindo o vídeo.
    Estou querendo fazer o curso AFF e pesquisando na internet achei seu vídeo.

    echt echt heel tof, ik ben 2 jaar geleden bij Teuge geweest voor een tandemsprong en heb daar zo van genoten dat ik sindsdien ook mijn AFF wil halen, ik ga deze maand eindelijk een auto kopen, dan vanaf juli tot feb op stage,helaas geen 4 dagen tijd tussendoor MAAR DAARNA ga ik m absoluut inplannen. dus hopelijk feb/maart dat ik dit ook mag gaan doen echt heel veel zin in, wel een vraagje, nu je solo kan springen wat kost een sprong dan per keer?

    • @celinesenden1567
      @celinesenden1567  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hee Richelle,
      Wat gaaf dat je ook helemaal verkocht bent na je tandem sprong! Super leuk!:D
      Jaaa, zeker doen! Echt een aanrader! Ohh, heerlijk, dan kan je lekker de AFF cursus aan het begin van het seizoen pakken, en dan de hele zomer heerlijk zelf springen!:):) Genieten!
      Als je eenmaal solo kan springen dan kost een sprong ongeveer 20 euro voor 12000ft (minder voor hopjes van lagere hoogte). Let op: dit is wel als je eigen materiaal hebt, anders moet je er nog huur van spullen bij optellen (tussen de 10 en 20 euro per sprong, afhankelijk van wat je moet allemaal moet huren, en of je zelf kan vouwen of dat je dat laat doen doen de packers)

    do you feel much lighter or felt the weight difference doing it solo compare to tandem? or its essentially the same??

    • @celinesenden1567
      @celinesenden1567  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think I did not feel as much of a difference in terms of weight, although this is totally not something that that I payed any attention to on a very first tandem jump;) But still, there is something heavy on your back anyways, either an instructor ánd a very heavy rig, or just a heavy rig ;P

    Did you have to use emergency shoot on jump 5?

    • @celinesenden1567
      @celinesenden1567  4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      No, luckily not!:) Big student parachutes mostly fly nice and straight with line twists in them, plus you open relatively high, so I had more than enough time to kick those twists all out^^
