- Join me on Day 86 of my sobriety journey as I share the next chapter in my quest to find my biological mother and family. Armed with my adoption papers and a photo, I meet with the two gentlemen who have been guiding me through this process since 2007. Their cautionary advice highlights the unfortunate reality faced by many adoptees who have been scammed by individuals claiming to be their family, only to exploit them for financial gain.
As we follow the leads provided by the adoption papers, we encounter challenges, including false claims and deceptive tactics by those seeking to take advantage of my vulnerability. Despite these obstacles, I remain determined to uncover the truth and find closure.
After the music, I delve into the concept of 'making a living on my regrets,' exploring how the lessons learned from my past mistakes can be transformed into a source of knowledge and empowerment for the future. It's a powerful reminder that our past struggles can be catalysts for positive change and personal growth.
