I bet Joshua Graham meet every sole character we played during the Fallout series. Meeting with the Sole Survivor, the Chosen One, the Lone Wanderer, the Courier.
The humble personality, always speaking with a calm demeanor, both who have suffered yet have never grown to resent their situations but instead they embraced them and kept moving forward. Only difference was one is real to history and the other's so well written he may as well exist.
Best ending for me was not letting Joshua have his revenge, and simply forgiving. He's killed enough, and he lived by the sword, and got backstabbed with it. But he's got his family and tribes. Him letting go off the hate is the best development. The constant killing had to stop at one point.
the thing is that by him forgiving and showing mercy, he is living his religion and putting faith in Jesus Christ. That is how he finds peace and is saved, which is the whole point of Christianity.
I would wonder why even God would want us to love our enemies, to bless them, even save their souls. But I realized that it’s not just b/c it’s what He would do or that b/c heaven is a perfect paradise…but because Hell is so much worse than we know.
Your goddamn right brother I felt the fire of the Holy Ghost witch is what Joshua graham is referring to the firey love of god is the Holy Spirit burning inside of you with the very essence of the father and son Christ yeshua almighty never let go even if we fall at times always dust yourself off an continue the good fight for Christ
Believe in jesus Christ who said you were worthy to praise our saviour organised religion is a cancer that takes the souls of the straight jacketed minds of the pretentious fools who need religion to justify their beliefs
I needed to hear this friend. Christ is Lord. Please read this if you have time: Everything that happens happens for a reason. There is no such thing as purposeless evil. I had to learn that thru horrific pain over a period of 16 years. By the way, Psalm 137 is a prayer of reminder for God to pour out his wrath upon Babylon. It hs not about babies. they represent the nation of Babylon, which in turn, represents the kingdom of satan, where evil resides, until Christ returns, ending all sin, war, evil, and glorifying all creation. I have a suggestion / request. Would you consider remaking this lower music volume and higher volume of Graham's voice? It's hard to hear him over the music. I have another request. Would you mind making a slightly shorter version without his quotation of psalm 137? I am asking bc Graham does realize if you make the right choices, he misunderstood that verse. In the good ending, he realizes his error, and gives thanks to God for it.
I respect you and see you. But I should say that I disagree. We are tend to believe sparkles and miracles. We always try to create context in the events or we go crazy if we don't find acceptable cause and effect relationship in the things. I know, sometimes it's just hard too see your way in the dark, and you try to create a dim light and hold on hope on it. And it comes people to hard accept possibility of existence of blind darkness. But I accept the reality with all its defects. I do not ask whether is it have meaningfullnes in the living or is there a purpose of the life. I go beyond my bounduries. And I play the role as how it is.
There are a few questions i have that keep me from believing in a god. You say everything happens for a reason, then why do young children get cancer and die horribly, not getting a chance to live even though they are good people? Why doesnt god give cancer to bad men and women instead? Why have i never felt the presence of god or seen him? It is hard for me to believe in something i havent experienced myself. And why does science make so much sense, why does evolution make so much sense? A god and humans popping up from nowhere does not make sense for me. I want to believe in a religion, it sounds nice and comforting, i just dont see how it is possible. It feels as though religion is made up to give humans guidance, to give them purpose where there in reality, is none. Maybe we should just accept that our existence is of pure chance, or maybe, the higher power is not an entity, but a concept, like gravity, or time. Religion is from older times when we had very little scientific research around us, unlike today.
I was the same way. Was a nonbeliever because of past experiences. Then I became more open to the idea of God. Told friends and coworkers that I would like to believe in God and the angels and all that if only I could receive a sign or something to really prove it to me once and for all. Then, one night in a dream, I had the most vivid, horrifying vision of the Devil. He came to me in the form of a dark mist containing 2 itty bitty red eyes and 2 massive charred looking horns. It was terrifying. I finally understood then. It all made sense to me in that moment. He's not a misunderstood rebel or a cool party dude that just wants to rock out and party. He's pure evil. Rage. Hatred. Chaos. Infinite darkness. Since then, I've embraced Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior because I knew the second I saw that infinite darkness and hate that there's also infinite light and love. I obviously don't know what you've been through, but I still hope you receive a sign as well and that you'll be open to it, brother. The Lord loves us all and won't test us more than we can handle. 🙏🏻
The word of the lord speaks substance and there is great power within the word once it is applied in one's life. By the way this game has incredible writing and dialog truly stuff of legendary ranks.

Could we please get a joshua graham character in the fallout series... there are so few well written christian characters in movies and video games/tv shows. Modern media like days gone paint us as insane violent zealots with no compassion, love or even really any true faith. This would make a wonderful change to the series which honestly i think features truely 1 dimensional characters

New Vegas feels sometimes like advanced mod but characters, ideologies, philosophical questions were so well written…it’s just unreal how this old ugly ass game make me feel…
It’s crazy that these lines were recorded for a post apocalyptic/post nuclear war game, but they apply so well to the world we live in today
We live in a dystopic world that is getting darker and crazier every year
A post apocalyptic world is highly probably the more realistic end of a world, and it's more near day by day
Why do you think?
